The tour took an hour and it was well worth it if you enjoy historical houses. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the early use of concrete along with using the roof to store water was fascinating. Not recommended for those with small children who will be easily bored by the tour. It also has steps is some areas which may be problematic if mobility is an issue. But if you like history and architecture, this is a hidden gem! I often go on historical house tours and have never seen anything like this. Enjoy!See more..

This is great to learn about local Brazos Valley / Bryan history. There are photos, artifacts, dinosaur bones, rocks, and a contemporary display (the theme was the history of board games). All done with accuracy and great care. There's also a discovery room for kids of all ages - there are snakes, a tarantula, and even a snapping turtle. A local beehive shows bees busy at work. I would gladly come back for another visit, next time I am in the BCS area.See more..
