I love the Magnolia hotel here in Seguin Tx. I met Jim and Eric right after they bought the hotel. We had an AMAZING experience with Brenda as well as Cameron. A lot of ghost tours just show you the haunted spots but don’t actually try and get any activity. This ghost tour you actually get to not only hear about the buildings, the history, and the haunting, but you also get to encounter it!! Brenda is able to interact with the ghosts on her equipment that she has. We also heard noises from her very own office building. This place was creepy...just what a couple of travelers needed as Halloween was approaching. My son and I walked through all three of the park's attractions. I was startled several times...my son screamed several times. Our time slot was for approximately 8:30 PM. My advice would be to come see this as early as possible. As we toured this place, it was evident that if you got there later in the evening, you probably wouldn't get out of there until after midnight. It was very, very busy.See more..
To be honest, we expected to be 'quite underwhelmed' going into this. What followed our initial skepticism, however, was refreshingly different, fun and informative! After viewing short videos on the history of Burleson, the M.K.T.('Katy') and the Interurban railways, we were treated to some great 'ghost stories' from two of the area's most-passionate paranormal studies investigators (who also happen to work with the Burleson Heritage Visitors Center)! We spent a good amount of time exploring the outside (and inside) of several of the historic, downtown buildings - and hearing stories of 'hauntings' and 'spiritual infestations', no doubt the result of unfinished lives cut short - and poor souls doomed to linger in the physical world - just a little bit longer. If you'll keep an open mind while treating yourself to some local history - you won't be disappointed! We had fun, and we'll be returning with friends.See more..
