I have usually had a very good experience at Hot Wells range. I only shoot.22 rifle and usually at 25 yards. It's a great set up and very clean and shaded from the sun. They will put up your own targets during a normal ceasefire but when there aren't many people they will call a quickie and put it up for you, Then retrieve it during the next ceasefire. The RSO is very friendly yet professional. Safety rules are enforced but not in a harsh way. Other shooters are also very courteous and friendly. My worst experience was when they placed a shooter with a muzzle braked 300 WinMag 2 stalls to my left. I couldn't take the concussion and dirt flying in my face. Such is life.See more..

After talking with the staff, that is in the works. It's also a place to relax between rounds with coffee and leather chairs. The staff could not have been more friendly and well trained. Course was challenging and clean. You'll need a cart, so bring your own or rent one. Plenty of good places to eat in town.
