I played here on a weekday. The online booking wouldn’t let me book the discounted green fee for a 1~Ball, so I rang the course and they said they would match it. I also booked rental clubs at $50 for the day- they were a pretty new set of Callaways with rogue driver, fairways and hybrid. On arrival at the course, the pro shop guy could not have been more helpful and friendly; after the round he even sorted a towel I could borrow to grab a shower. The course was in great condition and the greens were really receptive. I didn’t see a cart service during my round but it wasn’t warm enough to worry about fluids. Overall I really enjoyed playing here, pace of play was good and it was a fair price.See more..

Fairways were lush and the greens in very good shape. I spent two days hitting balls on the range - a perfect way to warm up and prepare for my round. Since the Property Owners Association acquired all of the resort amenities in October, 2018, the resort exceeded expectations! The condos, where we stayed, have been totally gutted and renovated with first class internal furnishings, first class kitchens, first class outdoor grilling facilities and totally new bedding and beds as well as new bathrooms. The landscaping is phenomenal as are the views of the Old Course. The restaurant at the New Course, Mulligan's, is unbelievable- thought we were at St. Andrews! Great golf course and the staff in the pro shop is super friendly. This is the 10th time we've been and the course is always in great shape. Heavily wooded with wildlife everywhere. We always stay the night and grill out. The cabins are on the 18th green. The facilities are older and you will need to bring all the necessities to cook but they do have a charcoal grill and picnic tables on-site. There is also a fire pit so bring wood.See more..

My husband Mike and I love that the course is now private, and have enjoyed the members and all of the upgrades Robert has done. Having grown up being a member at a private country club, a private course allows a sense of community, proper golf etiquette, and a sense of pride for your home course. It is choice to play public or join a private club, and we feel Woodforest is exactly our style. The staff is very friendly, the food has always been good, the deck is spacious and relaxing, and the pro shop is always full of the latest and greatness. Most of all, the course is fantastic. This course is nicely maintained, the staff is kind, and it is well priced. The course is difficult because of the long yardages and high grass (making it hard to find your ball on errant shots). Not busy the times I’ve played, but I would still get a tee time. There is also a lot of construction currently, which can be invasive on certain holes.
