The ride was amazing and its truly beautiful out there. I got this as a gift for my fiance for her birthday and she has not stopped talking about it since and has been telling everyone how much fun she had. Our horses treat and diamond were amazing, they're very well tempered and gentle for two people that haven't ridden in awhile. I recommend this for anyone just trying to get out and be in nature. We saw multiple types of wildlife from cardinals to deer running around. Definitely recommend the two hour because the one hour is not going to be enough, right when you get used to your horse and start having fun you would be going back. Our guide made sure we moved at our own pace when it came to the ride and reminded us what to do when we were doing anything outside of walking to make sure everyone made it back safe and had fun. I will definitely be doing this with my fiance again in the near future.See more..

Had a great ride this morning, March 15, 2022 at 10am. Weather was perfect and was just getting hot when we were done. Horses were great, as our 15 year old hadn’t ridden at all and our 7 year old had very little experience. Gavin and Kaitlin were great guides. Got to see some deer very near and would highly recommend wearing jeans as you go through quite a bit of Texas brush.See more..

5.0Pinebrook Farms(15 reviews) - Wonderful Place for my Horse Horseback Riding Tours
I have had my horse for 21 years and he has boarded at numerous stables. I had retired him in 2015 to a 40 acre ranch with plenty of grass and shade etc. However, he developed cushings disease which was overlooked and he became seriously ill. I looked for another place to bring him back to and found Pinebrook Farms. I do not have to worry about him. They have taken such good care of him (he is 25 now) and doing very well. They have spacious beautiful turn out, well kept grounds, stalls are cleaned. I just can't say enough about Jorine, the owner and her staff. They are experienced and do what they say they will do. I am so grateful because my boy is doing so well. Thank you Pinebrook Farms for all that you do.See more..
4.5Elm Creek Stables(14 reviews) - Kindness and love of her horses ! Horseback Riding Tours
Mrs. Beverly is truly a wonder person. Went for a hour ride but received so much more. George, gave us a Texas welcome and visited with us until our ride. The ride was very good but learning how Beverly has rescued horses, a blind axis deer, and other critters, was heart warming! Beverly is worth the drive and a ride to support her in her efforts to rescue those animals that others would have given up on. Going back tomorrow to ride again and hopefully hear some more heartwarming Beverly stories. See more..

On the way we’ll ride by a graveyard dating back to the 1700’s! The graveyard is said to hold the relatives of Davy Crockett as well as some other heroes from Texas history! We believe this is one of the most scenic and beautiful trail rides in all of Texas. After you finish your ride, we think you’ll agree!See more..

My friend and I went on a trail ride with Monica today and it was the best time. We both have stressful jobs and it was so relaxing riding the trails around Lake Ray Roberts. A beautiful place with wonderful an passionate trainers that will help you with anything, even if it seems like they're going to kill you. My mother signed me up for one week, but that one week turned into one month of pure bliss being outside and in the fresh air. 5.0Tres Molinos Resort & Event Center(2 reviews) - Beautiful and Peaceful Place to Stay Equestrian Trails • Fishing Charters & Tours • Horseback Riding Tours
Stayed here for part of our 8-day family tour of the Hill Country area. Lots of driving and hotels, so we were eager for a little more space at Tres Molinos, we were not disappointed. We stayed at the Ranch House, which large is beautiful. The views are incredible, you can see every star at night. We went horseback riding, rode a side-by-side around the ranch all day, fished, and one of us went swimming in the pond. We loved it. Angela and Elizabeth were super friendly. We actually opted to stay an extra day and pushed other stops back just to spend more time here. Easy drive into Fredericksburg, which is beautiful (when it is open). This is not a “resort” in terms on fine dining, spas, etc., but that is not what we were looking for. At Tres Molinos you enjoy peace, space, and cleanliness, plus options like horseback riding. We highly recommend it and wished we could have stayed longer.See more..
This place is gorgeous. My daughter wanted a trail ride for her birthday and they were able to accommodate us. I think they have a big hunter/jumper lesson program and do birthday parties, etc... but they also do trail rides. They have something like 150 acres or something crazy. The place is massive and we went riding for an hour. The horses were great and it was really neat to be in the country. Was fun for my daughter and me but would also be a great date activity!See more..
5.0Big Creek Trails(1 review) - When Your Teenager Says "I'm Bored" Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours You can give them more chores to do, that works! But it does not really address their need for activity. We decided to take our teens out to Big Creek Trails in Needville, TX. Now we had to rip the video game controllers out of their hands and listen to the pouting all the way there, but when we got there it was almost as if you could see the reluctance drop from their countenance. I literally heard my teenage daughter squeal with delight when she saw the horses. My two older boys held to their stoic demeanor, but it did not take long before they cracked and started enjoying themselves. We rode together as a family for an hour or so. We saw some really neat things on the ride. By the end of our time they wanted to stay longer. The conversation on the way home was quite different from the ride there. They could not stop talking about it. Now that school is out, our kids are asking if they can go and spend the whole day! If you are looking for a great way to interact with your teens and get some fresh air, enjoy a few hours in the sun, and just have good time, then you should really visit Big Creek Trails. It was only a 35 minute trip for us from Richmond, Texas. We had a blast. Carolyn the owner and trail guide was fun to ride with and the kids hit it off with her immediately. She really knows her horses. I got to ride "Duke," he is an awesome horse! We highly recommend Big Creek Trails.See more..

This Horseback riding experience surpassed “Any and All of our expectations”!! This Trail ride and being with Clint & his Family was like spending the evening with your family and long time friends!! We had a large group and they were very accommodating, patient, and also helpful!! In our group we had some experienced riders and we had a lot of rookies, and a lot more 1st time beginners (various ages 59 - 2 yrs old) that were all there for a Family member’s Birthday! Everyone had a great time, loved it, and I think the bigger issues were getting all of us to leave!! (Lol). Thank You Cannon Family!! 5.0Draggin' H Ranch Group(1 review) - Horseback riding they were great with the kids! Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours
They were so good with the kids and friendly. I was worried about my 5 yr old grandson but they made it so he could ride alone. We rode for an hour and saw so much! Rode thru a stream and saw cows and donkeys. They let us spend time with the horses after didn't rush us at all. Told us we could bring lunch and stay the afternoon there is a pavilion. Maybe we will do this next time!See more..

Nice and mannerly staff. Very knowledgeable about how to pair you up with their horses. The guides were great. They listen to your concerns and accommodates you accordingly. 5.0Lake Fork Stables(1 review) - Best time of our lives! Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours
Lake Fork Stables, a 501c3 nonprofit, offers a hands on horsemanship and introduction to horses experience. Guests will groom, tack and then ride our retired racehorses and lesson horses. The purpose is to teach safe horsemanship and introduce guests to the world of horseback riding. Guests are required to wear helmets and sign a liability waiver. Guests will ride in our 100x150 foot lighted, outdoor arena. Due to our location near the lake, we are not able to offer trail riding at this time, but this is an option we are working on for the future. Our horses are not like the typical deadhead horses you find at tourist trail rides. They are safe, well-trained horses with personalities! Bookings support our nonprofit programs for local low income, autistic and military kids.See more..
My family really enjoyed their house back ride. My husband really wanted his horse to gallop for some excitement and the guides did not mind. Overall, this experience is perfect for beginners or advanced riders. They had beautiful and kind horses and professional cowboys that guide you. One guide leads in the front and another guide is riding in the rear of the line. Wish we could have seen some deer though. Highly recommended! See more..
