We are a custom guided trail riding company.We are the only trail company that travels to several different state parks and natural areas to ride. We will take your group horseback riding at some of the most scenic locations for your scheduled ride. We are located in between San Antonio and New Braunfels(20 minutes from the Alamo). Don't miss Horseback riding with TEXAS TRAIL RIDING CO.
Before our trip to San Antonio, we called Kathy and reserved an afternoon ride. Once in town, we got directions to her ranch She, Donna, and all the horses were ready to go when we arrived. We followed the trailer to Canyon Lake for our 2.5 hour ride. With the exception of my Hubby, no one in our family had any riding experience. Myself and our two daughters (10 and 15) were immediately put at ease and carefully instructed on what to do and how the ride would proceed. Kathy and Donna were very friendly, talkative and helpful. The horses each had their own personalities which added to the enjoyment of the ride. Because San Antonio is experiencing a severe drought, the Lake level was extremely low. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the pace of the ride and the scenery. We saw numerous birds, and an unusually large (17+) group of deer. I highly recommend Texas Trail Riding Co. The afternoon was a great family experience that I know we will all remember. It was a great value and well worth the cost. Fun experience with a group who truly care about their horses
My husband and I had a friend coming in from NH for a visit and so we thought what better way to experience a little bit of Texas than on horseback around Canyon Lake. It was a great decision! The horses are extremely well cared for and gentle. Kathy was great and definitely knows what she's doing. We will return again and again. Thanks Kathy!
