This is the first time I had ever been to a Drive-in cinema and I found it fantastic. We got there early to avoid queues but there were not many people there, probably due to the weather. Our GPS sent us to the wrong entrance as well so look out for that. Reading previous reviews I can see where there could be an issue getting in if it was busy as there are no traffic lights just a single lane which could hold up traffic up with people turning in. I feel like a VIP when I go to this theater. I like being served at my chair during the movies. I enjoy the set up they have for reserving your seats online. It is a $1.50 fee, but so worth it to know exactly where you are going to sit and to slide right as the movie starts. The food has been pretty good. Some things I got were better than others. Most of the time the service has been okay. Occasionally I will get less than good service, but it usually doesn't interfere with our movie experience enough to keep us from coming back. The prices are though. We only attend this movie theater with groupons. To go without a coupon is too expensive for our tastes.See more..

Very nice seats in these theaters, pleasant staff, not very busy during the day. This has been my movie complex of choice since the Parks Mall AMC started feeling like they don't care as much. The first time I visted this place was in the 1990's. The Last Drive-In Picture Show is a landmark in Central Texas. Nowhere else can you take a carload of people to view two new releases for $10. Even the concession prices are amazing. We got 1 large popcorn for us & 3 small popcorns for the boys for only $10!! We even brought our own cooler full of drinks and candy. Try that at one of the new theaters in the area. The last time we went to the movies in Killeen, the five of us saw one movie and we shared a large popcorn & two large drinks (almost $50 total). I live near this theater so I go about twice a month. I prefer to go here during the matinee. There are generally only adults and a few children. I tend to enjoy the movies when there are fewer children. It's just quieter. I love kids - raised many but now I just like to relax and enjoy the movie. Also, the concessions are okay. I think they are significanly over priced. I generally do not purchase them. If you are on a budget or not in the splurging mood, then eat before you go or grab a snack right after.
