We really enjoyed our visit to the Farmer's Market. Several different options and not only relegated to food items. Most of the vendors accepted credit cards but the Market also sold 'cards' for $5 each which you can purchase with a credit card and you can pay using those as well. Change was given in cash when appropriate. See more..

We LOVE this farmer's market. They always great variety of vendors- produce, eggs, jams, salsa, grass-fed meats, breads, olive oil, pottery, bird houses, lamps, cutting boards, doggie treats. Everything is homemade. Most Saturdays there is a food truck and live music. There is plenty of parking and it is located in a shopping center parking lot, so you don't have to slog through mud to get to the vendors. We liked how they had a tent set up to sit and chat with friends and sidewalk chalk for the kids. See more..
  9. 4.5 Graham's Edgewood Market (8 reviews)
    - Lotta greens
    Farmers Markets
    Graham's Edgewood Market image
We drove over an hour to visit Graham's in Edgewood (located where the Texas Prarie gives way to the oaks and pines of East Texas therefore, Edgewood). I was told it was a must go to place for produce and besides we've been cooped up way too many months. You can't miss it, being located on Hwy 80 and sitting almost in the road. There's just enough room for pull in and park. They have a good selection of fresh produce and jams, jellies, and pickled veggies and while they didn't have fall bedding plants, they did have a great selection of pumpkins, squash, and gourds. We bought several for fall decor and some whole fig jam. Be aware it is pricey and the family members are good salespeople, but overall it is a nice place to visit. Just be prepared to shell out a lotta green. One highlight were the old cars in the back, a diversion for guys while your wife shops. See more..

The Keller Farmers Market is a casual, open air, seasonal market located by the creek in beautiful Bear Creek Park that offers fresh Texas produce, meats, tamales, baked goods, artisan bread, cheese, salsa, pasta, pickles, jellies and jams, honey, baked goods, prepared foods, pet products and crafts, all from the state of Texas or within 150 miles. Every Saturday from May to late November, the market offers something different – whether it’s the freshest produce, live music, chef demonstrations, or health and wellness presentations – making it is as much a center of commerce as it is for the community to reconnect. 15. 4.0 Richardson Farmers Market (4 reviews)
    - Interesting... Have watched this grow over the last 5 years or so. Seems to be something new almost every weekend.
    Farmers Markets
I thoroughly enjoy the leisurely and calming activity. Currently it is relatively small, but there are some wonderful gems to be had. My family and I go there every weekend and pick out the ingredients to make a meal with. We then get together and cook as a family. It has been a great bonding experience, gets the teenage kiddos out of bed before noon, and allowed us to give them a taste of what life is like on the other side of the SmartPhone Screeen. 18. 4.0 Midland Downtown Farmer's Market (3 reviews)
    - Fun, local farmer's market
    Sunday: Farmers Markets
Farmer's markets are just getting started in the West Texas area and this is the best one I have visited. Has a good combination of fresh produce, meats, baked goods along with stands for fresh ground coffee, spices, goat cheese products, baked goods and craft items. There is a children's activity area, live music provided by local individuals and groups, along with different food trucks every week and information provided by the local Master Gardener. One of my new favorite booths is the micro-greens provided by a local producer. It is held on the grounds of the Museum of the Southwest and seems very well organized and runs smoothly each time I have visited. They also have special activities that include local authors, health services, etc. See more..

    - Wonderful Farmers Market!
Sunday: Spent < 1 hour Farmers Markets
    Montgomery Farmers Market image
Montgomery Farmers Market brings together a select group of naturally-oriented farmers, ranchers, and food manufacturers from all over the North Houston region into a collective of vendors that are intent on one thing - providing the purest and most nutritious foods possible to our local community. We do this by educating and inspiring vendor candidates and customers alike in the dangers of the thousands of toxic chemicals prevalent in the modern food supply chain, how to avoid the practices that lead to this contamination, and how they can learn to optimize their production methods to foster the highest level of nutrient density. We’re not just a market, we’re a food revolution. We set up every Saturday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the extended parking lot of Ransom's Steakhouse in Montgomery, Texas to provide access to things like raw milk from grass fed cows, grass fed and finished beef, microgreens, organically grown produce, baked goods made with organic ingredients, and much more!
