Be sure to add Poteet, Texas to your list of towns to visit. Besides being the town that hosts the Annual Poteet Strawberry Fest (which is great fun), it has a unique place to visit called La Bodega. La Bodega is a quaint shop with antiques surrounded by a beautiful outdoor setting that is a great place to relax! The owners Irene and Ed are hosts with a down home hospitality that is rare and wonderful! A must add to your travel bucket list!

La Bodega, Great for any Event
La Bodega is a great location to have parties, barbeques, picnics and get-togethers providing indoors and outdoors accommodations. I love the landscaping with country style flower pots with rustic accents and cactus. It is the perfect spot for photos providing a whimsical backdrop of southern country and railroad decor. I recommend this spot for its antiques and country charm.

Awesome!
Cute little spot in downtown Poteet! We had a great time at one of their vendor events. There was music and food plus over 20 vendors. I followed them on Facebook just to be sure of the next event. Definitely recommend!
