We were able to find some excellent items at reasonable prices. The merchandise is mostly "smalls," but there are some lower quality furnitures items available. The rangs of items is huge there are dealers in the basements, but the quality is not as good as on the main floor. There are 60 dealers in this mall. The staff is helpful. We stumbled upon this place after leaving the bar-b-que restaurant next door. Half of the store was an old drugstore and the other half, a movie theater. The owners were there and Chuck took us on a whirlwind tour of Giddings and American history. I loved the Model T and REO Speedwagon fire truck on display. My wife was intrigued by the sheer volume of gift items (Betty Boop to Marilyn Monroe). About 15 minutes into our browsing we caught a whiff of the most wonderful aroma. We followed it to the rear of the store where Chuck's wife was busy making fudge. Of course we bought a box of assorted flavors, and it was the most delicious fudge we have ever eaten. I have been going to this antique store for decades. It is fairly large. It may have changed hands a time of two. Until a couple years ago, I found lots of antiques for good prices. There are still nice antiques in the store but the prices are too high. I might keep looking when I make return trips but I doubt I will buy anymore. We recently happened on this antique mall while visiting Boerne, Tx. Although it is just a short distance from downtown it is down the road a few blocks, it is at exit 359 off of interstate 10. It was so nice and cool inside, clean and well organized. The sign said 10,000 sq. ft. of shopping. The two vendors who were on duty were so helpful and gracious. We inquired about an item to purchase and they were so kind to call the vendor for us regarding a question. The prices were excellent and there was something for everyone.
