A Piece of Texas History
We stumbled upon this place after leaving the bar-b-que restaurant next door. Half of the store was an old drugstore and the other half, a movie theater. The owners were there and Chuck took us on a whirlwind tour of Giddings and American history. I loved the Model T and REO Speedwagon fire truck on display. My wife was intrigued by the sheer volume of gift items (Betty Boop to Marilyn Monroe). About 15 minutes into our browsing we caught a whiff of the most wonderful aroma. We followed it to the rear of the store where Chuck's wife was busy making fudge. Of course we bought a box of assorted flavors, and it was the most delicious fudge we have ever eaten. IT IS A MUST BUY!! Be sure to check out the train Depots located behind the store. After all, Giddings is the "Depot Capital of Texas".

what an awesome store!!!!
this is one of the most interesting stores i have to in a long time - maybe ever! there are so many things to look at in every nook and cranny of the store! they have vintage items, new items, steampumk items, fans made in every kind of design you can think of, amazing homemade fudge, and so much more!! the people there are super nice and friendly, too! this store is definitely a jewel in giddings crown!

Not What You'd Think and Great Fun
Thought this store would be an antique shop. It has some antiques, but it's just about the best shop you'll ever find to get lost in and browse for at least an hour or more and still not see everything!!!! Have fun.
