The whole experience was somehow so laid back and fun, but so incredibly regimented and safe without scaring you. They make it an effortless experience on your part. All you have to do is say "yes" to an extraordinary day and they make the rest happen! And don't worry, by the time it's time to jump out of the plane you are secured so tightly to your jump buddy, and they move you through so quickly you don't have time to panic. I can't say enough great things about this place! I have 2 kids that are deathly afraid of heights so in booking this trip I expected that I would end up with the kids and letting my husband have all the fun. The Staff was absolutely amazing in getting both my kids to Zip Line. My oldest who is 12 did every single line. My youngest who is 9 would not do the first line or second line. The Staff was so positive and reassuring that they convinced her to try it and that they would be there to stop her and take care of her. I didn’t know what to expect, but the staff and even other more experienced customers all made me feel “part of the family”. Not only was it a fun experience, but they know what they’re doing, were extremely organized and had everything well thought out and planned. This is exactly what a first time jumper wants. At no time did I feel unsafe or even uncomfortable. These guys (and women) are who you want to jump with on your first jump. And don’t forget the video package. Sky diving has been on my to-do list for a long time, so when I came across Skydive Spaceland while at Austin, I decided to go for it. Honestly, signing the waiver form was the scariest thing in the whole experience. Once I reached the facility, the staff was courteous and friendly. The instructions were clear and it was obvious that they had got this down to a science and were 110% confident on how to go about it. My tandem instructor was Phillip and he is an experienced diver with nearly 2000 dives in his belt. He was patient in allaying any fears I had and meticulous in the procedure to clamp up and be secure. From the time you are strapped up, you are in the care of the instructor and in safe hands. The experience of jumping out of the plane at 14000 ft was at the same time terrifying and exhilirating! I would highly recommend Skydive Spaceland for their first (and subsequent) sky dives. Wow, let me say if you get the opportunity to drive on a Nascar circuit, do it. The team took the time in class to explain that these cars are the real deal, ok so your limited to 150 mph. The best time of my life for all you speed demons, but let me tell you, your mind tells you to do one thing but you better do what the instructor tells you. They know best and you have more fun and you are allowed to run it to the limit. Great experience and would do it over and over.See more..
Erik, (Tour Director) and his drivers were first class. They were great forecasters with took us safely to see incredible storms. Any and all weather questions were welcomed and answered so we could learn about what we were seeing. They were personable, friendly, and welcoming. My wife and I went last year for part of our vacation. Allen and Bruce were very nice and helpful, the lodge was fine, everything was as advertised. The trail ride takes you along the boarder. Be honest about your riding experience when making reservations. These horses are better than your typical trail horses that walk nose to tail . The staff did a great job pairing each of us with the right tempered horse. Our ride on Pat, Beau, Don, was an hour . Our guide was terrific! Since the cold spell the trees were very bare. This ride would be really nice with all the foliage out. They offer step ups if you have trouble getting on the horse.See more..

My brother and I went to FlannelJax’s in Fort Worth 6/12. We had a great time. We are both very competing and enjoyed the skill games. Getting the axe throwing rhythm took a bit of time but with the store coaches help, we got into a good groove. It was great. I went up with a very knowledgeable pilot and had a lot of fun. I'd never flown in a glider before, and this was everything I expected and hoped for. I strongly recommend this to anyone interested in flight. The other personnel there were friendly and helpful, the tow pilot even lent me his hat, as I had forgotten mine!!
