This was my very first trip to Caddo Lake! It was an awesome experience and nothing that I had ever seen before. Rich uses a pontoon boat which was very comfortable, and we were able to move around to take pictures. He gave us the history on how this particular lake was formed and some of its struggles through the years. I am thankful for those who have worked to keep it so natural. Barry taught me to catch big bass in 5 minutes!!! We live on a pond and I've caught maybe 3 Bluegill the entire time I've fished here. I love fishing and even getting a nibble or two is exciting for me. 5 minutes after getting some professional instruction, a few simple gear changes and knowledge of where fish like to hide and I caught the biggest bass I've EVER seen!!! Dropped my pole and pulled the line in by hand so I wouldn't lose it, lol. This was a monster! Then cast 2nd and 3rd time and caught 2 more. Little brothers, I'm guessing. Over the course of two separate tours, we spent 5 comfortable hours exploring Caddo Lake with Mike as our guide. It was our first visit to Caddo, and we knew very little of the history or what to expect. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and a great story-teller! He also has an amazing ability to notice wildlife and point them out...we saw owls, osprey, heron, woodpeckers, and a gator that we would have missed without his help. Because of Mike’s expertise, we fell in love with Caddo Lake and hope to be back in other seasons so He can show us more of its beauty.See more..

One time they even upgraded our pontoon to a ski boat as the boat we were supposed to get broke down (all other boats were rented out). Though we initially noticed the extra charge on credit card, after speaking to them they promptly corrected the fee. All the elements Jason was able to control for our fly fishing adventure, were done. He was on time each day, the boat and gear were in tip-top shape, the safety measures were in place to keep us from really getting into trouble and he was able to coach us onto fish! The weather was not an element that could be controlled. In spite of the cold weather, wind, and fog, we still managed to rustle up some nice looking Reds out of the Louisiana Delta. Thank you for making the trip a success! Our lodging and meals were not with Jason Catchings lodge, so we had to rely on local establishments for food. We brought our 8 year old daughter here for her first fishing experience. It cost about $50 total and it was worth it. They provided everything we needed, including equipment, casting lessons and fish cleaning/filleting. They have people circulating to help with whatever you need. We had a great day on the river with Cody LaCroix and Reel Fly! Cody is very knowledgeable...I think he knows every square inch of the Guadalupe River and where the fish are! Greystone is everything they advertise and more. The food and and beverage are awesome, accommodations are extremely adequate, the views are unmatched and pool/spa were just perfect. The evenings are just magical....words cant describe the views, ambiance and overall experience. I turkey hunted and killed a mature Tom. One afternoon, I fished and that was an awesome experience. I do recommend you bringing your own tackle. My wife enjoyed the pool/hot tub, took walks and just relaxed. We took a guided Safari Ranch Tour that was so interesting. Greystone isn’t a place for children as much as adults, but children are welcome. We will be back for sure.....this place is first class form start to finish. While every single staff member was super professional, I would like to thank Vickie, the Executive Chef and Drew, my hunting/fishing guide specifically. Stayed here for part of our 8-day family tour of the Hill Country area. Lots of driving and hotels, so we were eager for a little more space at Tres Molinos, we were not disappointed. We stayed at the Ranch House, which large is beautiful. The views are incredible, you can see every star at night. We went horseback riding, rode a side-by-side around the ranch all day, fished, and one of us went swimming in the pond. We loved it. Angela and Elizabeth were super friendly. We actually opted to stay an extra day and pushed other stops back just to spend more time here. Easy drive into Fredericksburg, which is beautiful (when it is open). This is not a “resort” in terms on fine dining, spas, etc., but that is not what we were looking for. At Tres Molinos you enjoy peace, space, and cleanliness, plus options like horseback riding. We highly recommend it and wished we could have stayed longer.See more..
We had an awesome time fishing when I visited my daughter for her birthday down in Texas. The first day we booked a full day of fishing, but there were high winds and after two hours of fighting the winds, our guides offered to reschedule our trip. We were soaked and freezing, so we agreed. Two days later, it was warm and calm and they only had an afternoon trip available, but it went very well. They knew where to find the fish, they helped us catch the fish and they made sure we had a good time. They filleted and bagged the fish for us, and once home, we enjoyed eating our catch. We had plenty of fish to freeze for later. I look forward to doing this again the next time I visit my daughter. See more..

Will could not have been nicer. From start to finish (1/2 day trip) he was professional and fun. He made sure everyone was fishing as much as possible....her took us to about 6 different spots and we caught a dozen or so fish and 8 were keepers....he baited hooks, netted fish, and untangled lines from rocks and each other! Awesome day on Lake Texoma! My son and I spent the morning with Kevin and had a fantastic fishing trip. We caught tons of fish and Kevin catered to our every need. He was very attentive, educated us on the lake and kept our lines in the water the entire day. Total pro! The booking process was very easy. Best fishing trip ever. Picked up at our dock by Dakota who was AMAZING. We caught about 80 fish and kept about 65 including 3 hybrids where were so fun to reel in. Our six year old had the time of his life. Fished a few hours, then Dakota came back to our dock and cleaned them all. This company knows what they are doing. I would LOVE to do this again. My 12-year-old grandson and I had a great time with John one evening last week. I chose to just ride and watch and be the photographer. John was a wonderful, patient teacher -- showing my novice grandson how to fish with several types of lures. Highlights, of course, were catching the fish -- including 2 bass that would have been keepers if we had chosen to do that. John picked us up in his boat and provided all the equipment as he took us to probably 10 different fishing spots up and down the lake. A fun evening that we will always remember.See more..
BEWARE!! We booked our annual family fishing trip with Fellowship Fishing Guide Service for Memorial Day Weekend and the captain cancelled on us the day before the fishing trip, sighting high winds as the reason. We explained that we were looking at the same forecast and that the winds didn’t look concerning until later in the afternoon. We were told that he was not taking us and then Blake casually mentioned we could simply re-book another date. We explained that this was a family trip and that we had several people coming in from out of state specifically for this and we could not simply re-book. We asked if he could take us out and if we could fish until the wind picked up and we could return early if it became at all unsafe, and again, we were told that he was not taking us out. Since there was no compromise that we could offer It became very clear to us that Blake had other plans and was using this very thin excuse to get out of the commitment. To emphasize the complete falsehood of Blake’s excuse, the morning of our scheduled trip we asked the several persons at the bait shop if any guides were going out that morning, and were told that guides had been in the bait shop in the numbers that they would expect on a holiday weekend. We also witnessed multiple guides at the boat ramps taking their clients out. We watched from the bank as the winds were mild and pleasant and didn’t pick up until long after our scheduled return time. For a guide service that advertises as a “Fellowship” guide service, blatantly lying to your clients seems a little un-Christian like. I see that they do have many great reviews so I can only assume that when they actually do take clients out, it is a good experience. However, if you have an important family gathering do not rely on this guide because if he has something better to do, he will leave you sitting on the bank.See more..
Just had an outstanding fishing trip with J-Rods Guide Service. The three of us limited out on large white bass and caught four keeper size hybrid stripers as well plus lost a huge largemouth.
