My wife stopped here on forth of July weekend on our way back to Houston. It was in the midst of the Covid 19 case surge in TX, so we were cautious. We drove around the parking lot (huge) and parked near stores we wanted visit. All were responsible controlling the number of customers in the store as necessary, offering hand sanitizer or even requiring its use upon entering. One inconvenience was that some stores did not allow the use of fitting rooms. The return policy for some of those stores was a generous 60 days, but if there was no outlet store near you or you were not planning on returning to San Marcos during that time, you would think twice about purchasing. Other stores did allow the use of fitting rooms and sanitized the stalls as soon as customers would leave them. As a side note, if someone was looking for cool/cold weather items that were typically sold during winter months, there was A LOT of DEEPLY discounted stock - presumably due to the pandemic.See more..

This is a typical outlet area but it has a great flow & nice grounds. Parking is adequate as laid out however weekends & holidays are extreme. The prices at this outlet area are typical, interesting though some similar items we purchased at a local Dillards & JC Pennys were cheaper. Don’t think that the outlet means “cheaper” or best price. The people we engaged as employees were all mostly great - Those working on commission were helpful but not overly aggressive or frustrating—— most shoppers were courteous toward “look like them” people but overall not friendly, & we didn’t wear masks & had some negative looks from a few.See more..

I love the Round Rock Premium Outlets. Whenever I'm in the area, I always make time to stop by. First off, not all the shops are outlets. Some of the stores are full price stores. We went on Sunday, November 29th. We got there right when they opened, and it wasn't too crowded. Most shops were following the social distancing rules. It did seem to get pretty crowded as we were leaving around 1:30pm. The area is very well maintained and kept very clean. Lots of good deals around too!See more..

While staying in McAllen we shopped several times at the Rio Grande Valley Outlets in Mercedes because it was near by. The prices were better than at the same stores in McAllen and there was a very good variety of stores to shop. Plenty of food vendors to eat at as well. The outlets were easy to get around in and very pleasant layout. We really enjoyed shopping there and would recommend it.See more..

I spent my birthday weekend in Laredo and decided to visit the outlets because it's the newest thing to come to Laredo. Arriving to the establishment, I saw the 2 hour free parking signs and parked my vehicle in that area. I was glad that Platinum Parking offered us a shuttle ride to the outlets shopping area. I immediately fell in love with the variety of stores. I have favorited a couple stores already. I like that many stores have 40% to 60% off and still accept coupons. Before shopping, I signed up for the VIP Club at Guest Services to receive my first free coupon book. It helped a lot. I would definitely go again on payday. See more..
There seems to be little to no business at the outlets. It’s quite sad considering how beautiful it is. The stores are very nice and the scenery is also nice. They have fountains and food, lots of open space for the kids to run around. See more..

Watonga Cheese Factory was founded in 1940 in Watonga, Oklahoma. It was purchased in 2002 by Casey and Brandi Cowan. Then in 2007 tragedy struck when a tropical storm brought 80-mile-an-hour winds and 9 to 11 inches of rain and the factory was destroyed. The City of Perryton, Texas offered incentives to the Cowans to rebuild there and the factory was re-opened in 2010. Voted the “Best Cheese in Texas” in 2014, Watonga Cheese Factory still uses the same recipe and the same equipment that makes them stand out from the rest, and prides itself in its 70-year tradition to produce rich, handmade cheddar cheese full of flavor. In addition to producing all-natural cheddar cheese at it's location, the factory has a retail store where you can buy its mild cheddar, sharp cheddar in a variety of flavors.
