Our family consisted of a 7 yr old, a 2-1/2 yr old, their parents and 70+ grandparents. This is our r (the grandparents) first visit and we were delighted. Great Wolf has something to offer for everyone and is especially good at family activities. The pool area is a lot of fun for everyone, has life jackets in every area for the children, has a nice toddler area, a fun house, a lazy river, slides for all ages, a wave pool, a regular pool, an adult only hot tub as well as a family friendly one and I’m sure other things I’ve left out. Regarding the lazy river, it was good but I think the water pressure when you go under the falls is too heavy/hard coming down and I had to put my hands on the top of my head to protect it from the water beating down on it. There are generous sized towels given out based on the number of people in your room. Great Wolf’s most highly rated (by the kids themselves) activity is Magi Quest. You buy magic wands for the kids (reusable every visit). They follow a guide to find objects on each of the floors and insert their wands in the object. There are guides for toddlers as well as older kids who can choose from 3 different guides. Great Wolf characters march through the restaurant at breakfast and dinner and are available fir picture taking. I wouldn’t pay for a character breakfast, just eat at the regular restaurant and see the characters there. Evening activities are a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed the games, snowflake making and story time in their pj’s. Morning yoga for the kids is a great idea too. The rooms and beds were comfortable and very clean. The wait for elevators can be a couple of minutes sometimes but not a problem. We got through check in in 15 minutes and this was during Christmas break! Very efficient and friendly staff. We enjoyed a great day with family and friends. We arrived about opening so we were able to get chairs however I would suggest renting something if coming in after 2 pm. Lots of lifeguards on duty at every turn and on the slides at the top and bottom. We felt very safe. It was very nice that they sold goggles and sunscreen but you might consider beach towels. We made a last minute stop on a trip and would have loved that option. This is really a nice , affordable park for children of all ages !See more..

My sister, brother in law. And myself went this past weekend. Had a blast. Except for the end. The stairs were slippery with algae. I jumped off my tube which was a big mistake. It was deep ( it’s 13 ft). and the current was strong ( very) . I struggled to get to the stairs. I can swim but the current was pulling me under swallowing water several times. Thank God a man grabbed my hand and pulled me up. They really need a worker there to assist the swimmers. The river ride was good… BEWARE OF THE EXIT!!!! Discount admission after 4PM is the way to go! We had other activities in the morning so a trip to this little water park was the perfect way to spend our afternoon. There was a line to get in but it moved quickly. Once inside the park did not seem crowded. We loved the lazy river! Everyone was very nice and friendly. The lifeguards on duty were very attentive. This is not the biggest water park, but it is very clean and is priced right. There is something for all ages here, great for families. There were plenty of teens and they were well behaved... you can tell the people running the place would not tolerate anything less. My family loves Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center! It's located in the back of the park, so you might overlook it the first time. Plenty of parking spaces nearby. Entry is typically $6-$6.50 with only infants under 12 months getting in free. Even non-swimmers must pay entrance. Inside you'll find a 1 foot shallow toddler pool, a deeper pool, a waterslide, and a small lazy river. The pools are great, and all monitored by lifeguards. Lounge chairs are limited, but there is plenty of room on the concrete or lawn. Some areas are shaded by large umbrellas. A covered pavilion is available for parties. You will also find restrooms, lockers ($5 fee + $5 refundable deposit), a first aid center, and snack bar. Example food prices are $2 hotdogs, $4 nachos, $3 pizza slice, $1.50 bottled water, $2 sodas with $1 refills, and $1 candy. I think these are GREAT prices for a "mini" waterpark. My kids love visiting, and I love being able to see them from my lounge chair! Great value!See more..

We purchased season passes for this summer, which I feel is the best way to enjoy the park (and check out the other parks in Texas) many times this season. The passes include buddy passes, VIP nights, food coupons, etc. that add to the overall value. The daily admission price does seem a little high for the size of the park. The only negatives I would say are the hours. I wish they would stay open a little longer more evenings (besides Wednesday) to accommodate families/parents that work until 5-6:00.
