Fun waterpark

This is a nice sized, fun water park. Water temperature was nice and they have done all the social distance practices and disinfection as possible. You wear a mask to get into the park and anywhere inside. This year, a one day purchase equaled a season pass. So that is very nice and fun. Did not eat any of the food.

    Overall fun, but....
My people (13, 9, 7) love TT. We go about once a week during the summer and meet up with friends. We don't bother with the fastpass, since the lines aren't really that long. Personally, I'm not a fan. It's loud. Lord knows WHAT the toddlers have done in the water (ew). The music is often inappropriate (an observation my teen made today). The food is over-priced, but necessary unless you want to eat in the parking lot like a criminal, hunkering down in a boiling hot car. Some of the pros? The lifeguards are great. I have always had good experiences with them and am impressed with their attention to detail and kid-friendly approach (most of the time). The season plass has come down in price over the last few years, so it's becoming a better value than in the past. Parking is free (it wasn't when it was under different ownership), so that's nice. Cons? There are often day-care groups / camps and they have little supervision, so the naughtiness factor is exponential. My kids HATE pulling up to a parking lot with buses. As I mentioned, the food is expensive and you have to go to multiple venues if your people want more than the 3 things offered at any one place. It. Is. Loud! I tried to sit and have a conversation with a friend today and I could barely hear her at times. It's worse by the wave pool and with the DJ jamming inappropriate misic for the under 12 crowd, but it's loud everywhere. They took out the climbing tower. That was the one thing I enjoyed, even if it wasn't open until the hottest part of the day and required dry clothes at a waterpark. We'll keep going, because the season pass is a good value for a hot Texas summer, but we're gonna keep sneaking in snacks. Pockets are your friend. :D
