Summer fun for all ages

We enjoyed a great day with family and friends. We arrived about opening so we were able to get chairs however I would suggest renting something if coming in after 2 pm. Lots of lifeguards on duty at every turn and on the slides at the top and bottom. We felt very safe. It was very nice that they sold goggles and sunscreen but you might consider beach towels. We made a last minute stop on a trip and would have loved that option. This is really a nice , affordable park for children of all ages !

Rockin River Water Park in Round Rock TX is awesome for little kids.
We took our 71/2 & 5yr old kids today because the forcast called for 102 weather. We got there as it opened and found a huge picnic table in the shade with a few lounge chairs beside it. If you want a table, get there before noon or they fill up and you may end up having to ask to share or use the lounge chairs. The wonderful parts: low cost to get in, ample shade, pretty good views of the entire park to see your kiddos, very clean, no fee for parking and lots of life guards. I must say even with strong swimmers as kids, a waterpark can be a little stressful for parents. There was an accident while we were there and I must say the all teen staff of life guards were TOP NOTCH! They were in the pool, in control with child on backboard, 911 called and all swimmers out of the water within the 1st minute. Sorry to have seen it all happen, but I cannot say enough about the manner in which it was all handled. For the safety alone we will be repeat visitors. It made the small size, no place to really swim around and few attractions still seem worth another visit or two before the 2010 summer is over. Great big shout out for the life guards on staff 8/3/2010!!

Good for over 4 year olds...
Went shortly after noon on Friday, so wasn't too crowded...park seems pretty large but did have more lines for the tube rides later in the afternoon. They need a pad at the bottom of the frog slide as the 4 and 6 year old hurt there knees. They liked the slides at the train as it has pads there. There is a section left of the entrance gate that is for teens/adults with a bigger tubes and a cliff for climbing and diving into deeper pool. We brought in water and sandwiches for lunch but did pay $4 for some ice cream and snow cones afterwards.
