Fun Place

Took our two grandchildren for a fun bay out to water park out in Pampa Texas. On a beautiful warm sunny day our grandkids had a terrific enjoyable day. Just watching them play and enjoy the water park made us very happy. A great day out.

    Great family fun
Just visited for the first time and it was so worth the drive. Inexpensive ($6) and super fun with slides, diving boards, lazy river, and plenty of loungers for seating. Concessions are inexpensive, too, which is good because outside food and drink is prohibited. There’s a park right next door where you can take a cooler and picnic then go back into the water park afterwards. This place is great for everyone and it’s clean and well maintained. Thanks, Pampa. We’ll be back next week.

    Small but FUN!
This is a great family friendly water park that is owned by the City of Pampa, Texas. It has a very reasonable entrance fee of $7 adults, $6 students. The park hours are typical for this area, 12 Noon - 7pm, weather permitting, they will close if lightening is within 5 miles. If you are looking for a Wild Waves or Schlitterbahn experience, then NO, this is not even close! There are 2 "tube" slides, a tube to bowl slide (FUN), a children's water play area, and a pool with 2 springboards. The only reason that this water-park is getting 4 stars not 5 stars, is the unposted rules that this park has! I understand completely the need for rules, especially at a water-park, but there are so many rules, that first timers will have a very difficult time following along, and guests of this fun little water park find out about these rules in a not-so-polite way. That is right, there is no signage telling of rules!!! RULE #1 - NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED (unless you buy the food or drink from the City concession stand) - not even a bottle of water RULE #2 - NO EARRINGS ALLOWED IN THE POOLS, ON THE SLIDES, ETC... - Now I do understand the safety feature of this, however it would have been nice to have seen this written somewhere. I personally have earrings that are NOT removable as my husband and the jeweler tightened the hoops so they will not come out. This was easily resolved when I explained and showed the park manager the situation and she put a small bandage on each of my earrings, to show the life-guards that they were indeed okay. RULE #3 - NO MORE THAN 3 PEOPLE PER PLATFORM - This applies to the slides. This is NOT written anywhere, it is just understood by the locals. There is a very valid SAFETY reason for this, and personally, I totally agree with this rule, funny as it sounds. One other thing... Everyday at 3:00 sharp... EVERYONE OUT OF THE WATER!!! That's right!!! The park shuts down for 30 minutes at 3:00 sharp!!! I guess this is the time when we are supposed to go to the concession stand and buy their food and souvenirs. In actuality, I think that the Lifeguards and other staff are having a safety meeting. ADVANTAGE of bringing your own picnic... They have in and out privileges and a small play area with covered picnic tables.
