    SIx Flags Fiesta Day Trip
My family and I decided to take a day trip here and were happy with the overall visit. The theme and layout of the park was simple to walk and easy to find the rides you wanted to ride. As a fan of DC Comics and Looney Tunes I always love to see those worlds represented for all generations. As for the rides, there were a few rides that were down for maintenance, which sucked, but is understandable as I prefer working machines when my family is on them. The rides we did get on were fun and exciting, with our best being The Superman. This was definitely my wife and I's favorite roller coaster to date. We did not get to do anything on the water park side as it was not yet open for the season. The negatives for this park would have to come down to cost. I have a family of four and it was pricey to visit and purchase things. I think paying $300 for a single day is a bit high, especially considering you could, without too much waiting, see the park in six hours or so; obviously with long lines it takes the entire day. Worse though, is the cost of food, and this really rubbed me the wrong way. I spent $100 on two cheeseburgers, 3 piece chicken strip basket, three fries, nachos, and three drinks. This is something I would have spent maybe $30-40 at any place for my family. The food was not anything that warranted that price, as it was standard and bland. I know next time I would bring my own food and drinks to conserve cash.

Water park could use a refresh
This was about what I expected for a water park. However, for the prices they charge, they should be able to maintain the park better. The wave pool was filthy. It was very crowded that day but the pool could use someone dedicated to fishing out the used bandaids, leaves, and other debris in between when the waves are running. They are clearly short staffed which is likely because they don’t offer competitive compensation. The lines for food were long and moved very slowly. The bathrooms were also filthy. We rented a basic cabana which I would absolutely recommend if it’s in the budget. There is no shade unless you pay extra for a seat with shade. It would have been a miserable day without the cabana which included a table and chairs, mini fridge, fan, two lounge chairs, and a safe. The computers were down when we arrived so they came around later and said we needed to go back to give a deposit. My partner went and stood in two lines only to be told the computers were still down. He had to go back a third time. All that being said, the kiddo had a great time going down the slides, floating in the lazy river, and going in the wave pool. If you can go when it’s not super busy, the experience would probably be a little more pleasant.
