Took a tour of this ballpark during a layover in flights. Took about 20 minutes from the airport and easy access from the highway. Nice ballpark and they give lots of tour options to choose from. I did the quick photos only tour which was meant for those that had limited time on their hands and wanted to still see the ballpark. Definitely recommend it - $10 and gets you to check out the field and the tour guide gives a brief overview of the stadium. See more..

4.5American Airlines Center(1.388 reviews) - Stars vs Hurricanes Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Sports Complexes • Arenas & Stadiums
We went to watch the Dallas Stars play the Carolina Hurricanes on February 11th 2020. The game was fantastic as the Stars completed a 4-1 victory over a decent Hurricanes side. The venue itself was excellent as well, conveniently located and easy to access. Seating around the stadium is well placed, nowhere was too far away or had a blocked view etc. The seats are a bit tightly packed however this is the case at most venues. The seats for this particular game were very cheap as well; we figured we probably made a 'profit' on the night as the first 5000 fans received a free cap which I figured was worth more then the price we payed for the seats! The food and beverage service was quite expensive, more so than in Atlanta, but far less than other city stadiums. The stadium was also very clean which was good. I would definitely recommend going to watch an NHL or NBA game here if you have the opportunity.See more..
4.5Riders Field(513 reviews) - Fantastic ballpark, great for families Arenas & Stadiums
The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 12 seasons (2005-2016). In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg and Scott Sonju. The new ownership group, together with the city of Frisco, has spearheaded numerous major franchise improvements over the past two seasons, investing more than $7 million in a wide array of facility upgrades and improvements, including a new state-of-the-art HD video board, sound system, Bull Moose Saloon, InTouch Grille, Riders Outpost Team Store, and the newest and biggest creation, the 174-foot Choctaw Lazy River. The upgrades made prior to the 2015 season earned the Riders and the City of Frisco "Best Ballpark Renovation" of 2015 by Ballpark Digest. The same publication also honored the Choctaw Lazy River as the best ballpark improvement over $1 million for the 2016 season. More than 140 former RoughRiders players have gone on to play Major League Baseball, including All-Stars Chris Davis, Adrian Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, and Nelson Cruz, as well as current Rangers stars Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor, and Nomar Mazara.See more..
5.0Kyle Field(424 reviews) - A Gorgeous Stadium Full of Energy and School Spirit Arenas & Stadiums
This stadium takes football to a whole new level. It's nicer than any professional stadium we've ever been to and holds over 100,000 spirited Aggie fans. We came to town for the weekend and enjoyed watching the Ags win 34-0. Loved sitting right behind the head Yell Leader as he led the crowd in coordinated yells. School spirit shines strong here, and it's loud and boisterous just like college football should be. Don't miss the flyover at the beginning of the game and the Aggie band performing at halftime. I've never seen anything so well coordinated and precise. They allow you to bring a bottle of water in with you; take advantage of that because it can get brutally hot inside the stadium. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen too. A clear bag policy is in place. Concessions are available inside and outside the stadium. Fans are extremely friendly. Highly recommend attending a game for anyone who loves football.See more..
4.5Round Rock Express(367 reviews) - Love of the American Past Time Arenas & Stadiums
Love baseball or not love baseball, you are going to love Dell Diamond and Round Rock Express baseball. A great family atmosphere, got kids, get on the hill, its cheap fun and great baseball. Are you a veteran, you will never be treated more fair on ticket prices than you will at Dell Diamond. Look for their promotional nights, best bargain in town. 4.5Dr Pepper Ballpark(367 reviews) - Beautiful Spent More than 3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
We didn't go inside and visit but we drove by very slowly.....OMG what an amazing field. This field is built in and down in the ground. It is huge and beautiful! Looks like there are condos surrounding the field. There are various restaurants out side the park one can walk too. Plus there is a parking garage across the street. Looks like it was very well planned! Great job Frisco!See more..

4.5H-E-B Center(245 reviews) - Texas Stars games Arenas & Stadiums
I see other reviews that are negative. But they are really more about the events than the venue. We have only been here for Texas Stars hockey games. And they are great! So fun and affordable. Good times for the family or for a date night or group of friends. Free parking. Small arena so every seat is a good one. Lots of food and drink options. This sports complex has recently been expanded to increase seating capacity. The facilities are kept up to date and there are no seats in the house that are really bad. Stadium refreshments and snacks are available for above average prices. The hotdogs we ordered were tasty. Attended the JMU and NDSU National Championship Game (Football) and had a great time as the game was competitive and both fan bases were very spirited.See more..
My wife and I went to the Allen Event Center for a hockey game. I will say the set up is great. It did not look like there was a bad seat anywhere in the event center. Everything was easy to get to and the lines moved quick when we were going inside. This was a great place for the hockey game. See more..
Drove from Colorado to the All star game. The field was beautiful, concessions were priced Right. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The extras going on entertained the little ones. See more..
We went here for a Sesame Street performance with Elmo. Well run event but the extra fees were ridiculous. Tickets were $69 per person plus $21 fee per ticket. Then meet and greet was another $25 per person. Then the concessions and souvenirs were not cheap. At least parking was free. I am not sure how much of this is the Ford Center but it really makes for an expensive event.See more..
One of the best gameday atmospheres in the nation. For BIG 12 conference games this place can be ear splitting. Very loud. Fans are engaged, passionate and courteous if they are not provoked. Parking can be difficult as most close parking lots are used for a one of the best Tailgating I have seen on a college campus. They do have round trip shuttle busses from satellite lots for a good value. Ck the Tech athletic website for lots and price. Also they have concessions with extensive menus. Not just hot dogs and popcorn.See more..

4.5College Park Center(35 reviews) - A clean, convenient, and nice looking venue Arenas & Stadiums
I really like this indoor arena. It's located on the campus of UTA (University of Texas Arlington) with easy in-and-out access via the large parking garage next door. We paid $10.00 event parking and walked maybe 500 feet to the arena entrance. The interior layout is beautiful. The basketball court is the center focus with two tiers of seating all the way around. There is not a bad seat in the house even in the second tier. We were there for the UNI vs. UTA basketball game. I found the UTA fans to be excited, engaged and friendly. Overall, a great atmosphere. Concessions are located around the perimeter of the building behind the stadium seats. They are clean, orderly and nice looking. Restrooms are very clean. This is a great venue for sports, graduations and concerts.See more..

4.0Curtis Culwell Center(27 reviews) - Great venue with terrific accommodations Spent More than 3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
I was here for a Rachel Hollis Rise event and the venue did a fantastic job for us. Since it was an event for women, they converted all of the men’s restrooms to women’s rooms which eased the lines immensely. They also provided healthy options for us at the concessions, and they had two stations set up serving açaí bowls which was incredible. All the staff was very friendly. See more..
4.5Kokernot Field(23 reviews) - Historic Old Time Ball Park. Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
As a fan of baseball I drove to Kokernot Field to see this historic place. Built in 1947 it maintains that vintage feel with wooden seats in the grandstands & original local stone construction throughout. The outfield dimensions are major league with center field at 415 feet and red clay from Georgia on the base paths. The field is used by Alpine High School, Sul Ross University & The Alpine Cowboys of the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs. A new scoreboard will soon be added. If you are a baseball fan you should plan a visit to Kokernot Field. My next visit to the Big Bend area will included a baseball game here.See more..
3.5State Farm Arena(22 reviews) - Awesome show Arenas & Stadiums
On our last night in Texas we caught a show with the family. Gabriel Iglesia was phenomenal. He had us rolling and crying at his crazy life stories. The StateFarm Arena itself is not huge at all. All seats are great. Now the prices at the concession stand are a little ridiculous, but if you are hungry or thirsty they are there for you. I didn't like the fact that the ushers were standing by the stairs and lighting peoples eyes when someone would get up for a reason. I was getting irritated every time he flashed my eyes. The arena needs to install little blue lights so people can watch their steps in the dark and that would eliminate the ushers with the flashlights flashing ones eyes. Oh they can stand there but please turn flashlights off. See more..

4.0AirHogs Stadium(11 reviews) - A Great Night of Baseball Sunday: Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
We go to Quick Trip often. If y ou love baseball, this is the place to be. The seats are all close up, the players friendly and willing to interact with you, and the food is inexpensive. There is a playground for the kids and everyone is amiable including the fans. It is family oriented and no one minds the little ones yelling for The Air Hogs. Even the seats seem a bit roomy enough for the larger of us. Cup holders abound, leg room is adequate. It's a great evening out. Free parking!!!!!!!! and you don't spend a half hour walking to the park. Cost is 1/5th the cost of a Ranger ticket AND you can see the players' faces from your seats.See more..

4.0Bill Carrico Athletic Complex(1 review) - New High School Football Stadium for Denton ISD Spent 1-2 hours Arenas & Stadiums
New additional stadium for Friday Night Lights for Denton ISD. Braswell High School plays at this location now and assume Little Elm will be also be playing here. Opened in 2022. Holds only 5000 home and 2500 visitors. Nice venture with huge video board that sits directly behind the visitor seats and useless for the visitors (to close and too talk) and another smaller video board on the NW corner of the field. Narrow exits form the visitor concourse, currently limited access from Hwy 380 due to construction.See more..
