For a tiny town this is an excellent venue and park.
Gonzales is a tiny town, but has done an excellent job in creating a venue for events of all sorts. With the founder of the town's family, Green DeWitt and their memorials, overlooking the area, there are horse barns, arena, and rv areas and a pavillion. Thank Mr. J.B. Wells for the donation of the land and the town for this venue and 169 acre park. More information at their website: http://www.tourgonzales.com

Very good facility for horse events
Come here for horse cutting events several times during the year. Facility is well maintained, easy to travel around, good seating and lighting. Food facility is very good. During cold weather the wind/cold can be an issue to deal with.
