The Ford Center at The Star, Texas, United States

Nice facility

We went here for a Sesame Street performance with Elmo. Well run event but the extra fees were ridiculous. Tickets were $69 per person plus $21 fee per ticket. Then meet and greet was another $25 per person. Then the concessions and souvenirs were not cheap. At least parking was free. I am not sure how much of this is the Ford Center but it really makes for an expensive event.

    VIP Tour
My adult son was visiting just after the Christmas holiday and he is a Cowboy fan, as he once resided in Dallas. I wasn’t sure this would be a tour that I would really be enthused about, but I followed along. I truly enjoyed the tour! Our guide informed us of little known trivia along with lots of history. She was well informed and engaging. We saw Dak and a few other players!!! I would recommend this tour, even if you are not a Cowboy or football aficionado. I will gladly join in again with the next fan that comes to visit!

Bob Segar (Final Tour Concert) - avoid this venue
This place may be great for other events, but a large concert is not it. Artist (Bob Segar) was outstanding. Acoustics were not bad at all. Food and their prices were of high NFL cost and poor NFL quality. We sat on the sides - temperature was fine where we were (Section 109) and with seatbacks. Food and merchandise lines were crazy long. Ended up using the walk around beer vendors - and that worked. Parking was free but distant and it would be terrible in bad weather. Lines to get in were AWFUL. You’d think getting people into a venue was something that the Cowboys deal with, but these looked like rookies. Lines to get wound around the block, security was poor, directional signage was obscure, and the entire process was awful. Exiting the venue was equally poor - LONG lines that hardly moved. We ended up going down on the floor, back up the other side and exiting on the opposite side of the hall.
