Heritage Hill Equestrian Center, Texas, United States

4.5 (5 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Princeton Horseback Riding Tours

One word: Am-az-ing!

A beautiful place with wonderful an passionate trainers that will help you with anything, even if it seems like they're going to kill you. My mother signed me up for one week, but that one week turned into one month of pure bliss being outside and in the fresh air. The owner is wise, old Miss Angie who is the sweetest with the horses and the kids, not to mention the horses again. If you want a nice and calm place to learn to or continue riding horses, Heritage Hill equestrian center is the best place to go!

Nice safe horseback riding for the entire family
DESCRIPTION * Nice facility with super friendly owner and staff. The trail ride was a little uneventful and short, but it was completely safe and fun. After we were finished with the trail ride, the guide took us into the coral and taught my daughter and friends how to trot the horse. That was unexpected and something the girls enjoyed a lot. PROS * Only $25 for a 1 hour trail ride (great price) * The staff works hard to make sure you feel comfortable and safe in the saddle * The guide took us into the coral for practice before and after the ride CONS * Would like to see more trail variations. It may have been offered, but I am unaware * It's about a 45 minute drive from the North Dallas area

    Friendly and casual
I wanted to find a place to start horseback riding lessons and found Heritage Hill on the internet. Their prices are so reasonable and my instructor, Don, is great. (I think he's a horse whisperer) A short drive from Plano. Angie, the owner, is very accomodating. I will call and make my appointment for my lesson and she will work around my schedule. If I had to cancel it wouldn't be a big deal like some other stables I read about. They teach western and english. They don't have a covered arena so you may have to work around the weather. They have acres for trail riding also.
