Cute cabins in a super quiet area
We stayed in cabin number 3 at NRS while in Decatur overnight. We had our lab, Haven with us & couldn’t have been more pleased with the place. If you had a smaller pup the outside kennel would be perfect for them. The weather was cold and rainy so we couldn’t use the grill, but appreciated the option. There was a concert of some sort going on down at the arena when we arrived, and while we were worried that the music would keep us up, the cabin was very quiet and we were all able to get a great nights rest. The cabin was clean and I felt very safe staying there. We‘ve always stayed in our LQ horse trailer when we were at the arena before, so trying out the cabins was a good gamble.

Five Texas Sized Stars for the NRS Guest House/Arena
We would absolutely recommend a stay at the NRS Guest Ranch! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the NRS Bunkhouse. The king bed room was clean, perfectly prepared, and cozily decorated. We slept so well! The grounds were lovely, and sitting out by the fire pit in the evening reminded us why we LOVE the Lone Star state so much…those stars! The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the arena and watched breakaway roping (as well as some adorable little kids showing off their roping skills). The NRS store was an excellent way to wrap up our stay in Decatur. Five Texas sized stars for the NRS Guest Ranch experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
