Excellent ride
Located just 15 minutes from downtown Austin, this pristine 100 acre estate is famous for open green pastures, beautiful tall oak trees, and relaxing serene environment. We will ride through an eco safe zone that has been preserved for generations. We will pass by ponds, creeks and wildlife. You will also experience a little piece of Texas history on our ranch. On the way we’ll ride by a graveyard dating back to the 1700’s! The graveyard is said to hold the relatives of Davy Crockett as well as some other heroes from Texas history! We believe this is one of the most scenic and beautiful trail rides in all of Texas. After you finish your ride, we think you’ll agree!

Wonderful place, Wonderful Time
My daughter's birthday is next week. All she wanted was to go horseback riding on a trail and trot by herself, and that's exactly what she got this morning at Southern Trails. Devyn was our trail guide. She was so friendly and sweet!!! Also very informative and knowledgeable. The horse ranch was a beautiful place and we all enjoyed it. Reservations were a breeze and they were quick to respond with availability and instructions. The horses were very gentle and pretty laid back. We definitely recommend!

Amazing experience!
We took my 8 year old niece here for her birthday and we all had the time of our life! Our trail guide, Vania, was super nice and laid-back and the horses were all so well behaved and kid-friendly. The property is absolutely stunning! The trail was beautiful with fall colors everywhere, a creek running through, and lots of other cool sights. We had an amazing experience here and will be coming back for sure!
