What a kick in the pants golf course
First time to Bastrop, TX, moving my brother and we were regular golfers in California. We were looking for a fun place to play and found it at Pine Forest Golf Club. The Pro shop personnel are very friendly and helpful, and the grounds crew are really working hard to make it a better course. A little rough around the edges but worth playing for fun and enjoyment, with the use of every club in your bag. Drop down to the front nine and enjoy the flat land of Texas with beautiful views from each hole. On the back nine the game picks up beautiful holes and vista tee boxes. The price is right and the course is FUN. I will tell family and friends about this golf course.

Hilly Course
Course has mixed layout , 5 holes along the river and the rest in the hills . Some good views in the hills but some of the descents in the cart were scary. Greens needed cut when we played but it could have been due to the spell of wet weather.Staff were friendly , only real gripe was paying for range balls before we played
