Nice layout
Southern Oaks has undergone several ownership changes in the last 10 years, the latest being several months ago. The prior owner really upgraded the course and got in wonderful condition, but abruptly closed it. The new owners have hired a management company and the verdict is out at the moment due to the short amount of time since the transfer. The course itself has a fine layout, challenging for all levels of golfers. Currently it is not crowded at most times, and the prices are reasonable. Also it is coming into good shape; fairways are good, greens just punched so a bit bumpy, but they were great last season. Very worth a try.

Good hole lay-out
Nice club-house and pro shop. Drought has effected the grounds. Recently under new ownership/Mgmt., I'm hopeful that the groundskeeping will improve. 18-hole golf course. Friendly staff. GREAT hamburger at the club house! Actually, many people just go to the club-house for the hamburgers. ENJOY :)
