Great range! Check your egos at the door.
One thing about a gun range is that the RSO is the boss! Like it or not that is how it is . the folks at eagles peak are good at what they do and your friends or family should be grateful that someone as experienced and unbiased by your corporate stature or title, will hold everyone equally accountable when it come to the rules and regulations of handling a firearm. I don't care how big your ego is or how much money you earn at your job . if you are not abiding by the rules of the range then you are a danger to everyone around you! I have seen and heard it to many times to not know that what i am saying is true. The RSO is the boss. You are not! Get over it or leave. Check your title and ego at your car door and enjoy a safe and fun day at the range. Eagles peak is a great place to shoot!

Great place for disciplined shooters.
The nicest outdoor range in the area. Positions are all paved and roofed. I pass 2 other ranges to go here. Range Officer is strict, keeping everybody safe. Corrections or directives are quick and concise, and to the neophyte, could be considered rude. He does his job to keep everyone safe. It's not mean, but he can't waste time with soft shoe advise. These are guns, and lives could be put at risk. Corrections must happen faster than a modtake could. The gentleman running the store is gregarious to members and free with his advice. It's a regular Sunday ritual for my family and friends.

Great Range, VERY Safety Oriented
Look, it's a great range but you WILL be fussed at for some safety stuff. They take "no nonsense" to the next level. My suggestion is to just deal with it. It would be much worse if their sin was not being safe enough. If you keep this in mind, you'll have a great time.
