Burleson Historical Ghost Tour, Texas, United States

3.5 (4 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Burleson Ghost & Vampire Tours

Meet the "Ghost Whisperers of Burleson"!

To be honest, we expected to be 'quite underwhelmed' going into this. What followed our initial skepticism, however, was refreshingly different, fun and informative! After viewing short videos on the history of Burleson, the M.K.T.('Katy') and the Interurban railways, we were treated to some great 'ghost stories' from two of the area's most-passionate paranormal studies investigators (who also happen to work with the Burleson Heritage Visitors Center)! We spent a good amount of time exploring the outside (and inside) of several of the historic, downtown buildings - and hearing stories of 'hauntings' and 'spiritual infestations', no doubt the result of unfinished lives cut short - and poor souls doomed to linger in the physical world - just a little bit longer. If you'll keep an open mind while treating yourself to some local history - you won't be disappointed! We had fun, and we'll be returning with friends.

    Ok
This is good but I honestly think they need to add something else to add more attraction to this, unfortunately I don't think is use to the maxime

Ok event for a Saturday night
After going on several other ghost tours in some bigger cities maybe my expectations were just too high. The tour started off watching videos on the history of Burleson. After a discussion we were given tiny little lanterns (they didn't put off any light) and started the tour. The cool thing about this tour is that you actually get to go inside the haunted buildings. The odd thing was that the stories were kind of hard to follow. They would refer to the ghosts names before telling us anything about them, and they seemed to skip around a lot. One of the ladies made it seem like she talks to the ghosts on a regular basis, so maybe we just weren't prepared for that in depth of a tour. They also have pictures of their sightings you can ask to see. It was supposed to be an hour and half tour but lasted over three.
