    everything else
Well, there are no Remingtons or Russells hanging on the walls, but just about everything else. This museum is well curated and obviously backed by some big money. Its three stories are very well done in its reminiscence of the old American west, right up to replicas of stagecoaches, wagons, etc. Could spend several hours here. Very enjoyable.

    The Perfect Size & Collection
I love museums. However after hours of seeing the same thing over & over, they can get monotonous. The Briscoe is the perfect size & has some amazing things to see. The highlight for us was Santa Ana's Sword. My husband's a huge Lonesome Dove Saga fan & was excited to see this exhibit. They also had some very pretty saddles, spurs, & other interesting artwork to see. They currently have the Thomas Mengelsen exhibit on display. His pictures are incredible! We would both highly recommend visiting this worthwhile museum.
