    Interesting stop
This is located downtown very near the dart rail stop. While waiting on our train we wondered by. It’s free to get in and presents the history of the local railroads of the area. It certainly worth checking out when you are downtown.

Good history of a regional railroad
The museum is located at the edge of Haggard Park which has free parking. There is no admission fee for the museum, but there is a suggested donation of $2 per adult and $1 per child. It is a small museum but it does have a good history of the regional railroad system. There are also several hands on exhibits presenting learning opportunities for children. There is also a section on the history of Plano, Texas.
