3.5TX Spa Castle(345 reviews) - Looking for meditation, relaxation and friendly conversation Monday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM Spent More than 3 hours Spas
The establishment was nice and clean with all COVID-19 rules clearly explained and executed. Our massage was wonderful, the masseuse attended to all the stressed areas we identified. The saunas were great!! along with the nude hot baths and bathing areas. Just be cautious of the extra costs for drinks and gratuity, which can add up quickly if not managed. I would recommend you eat and drink outside the establishment for better cost and quality.See more..

3.5Branch Davidian Memorial Park(207 reviews) - Piece of sad history Monday: Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
Very far out from town. The pool is left and the school bus that they used as a bunker. The house that the ATF agents used to spy on the branch davidians is still there across the street. There is a new church that is built on the foundation of the compound. Im not sure if you can go in the church or not- I didn't try .Didn't see anyone working there. Several other families were out there looking around. Was hesitant to go in bc the sign says private property but you can. In fact they want people to go out there and learn the story about what happened to them and by who. They have pamphlets in a box on the box of the church with information to take.See more..
3.5Urban Air Trampoline Park(140 reviews) - Overall a good experience! Monday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Playgrounds • Game & Entertainment Centers

This was a fun little stop. I’ll admit, the crater is a little underwhelming since it’s mostly filled with dust and dirt at this point. The museum has a great little collection of meteorites from all over and some very interesting info posted. Only 2 miles off the interstate as well. See more..
2 Stars because of the server. Let me start by saying the young man who provided service to us was wonderful and attentive. The problem I have is why is SMG adding 18% gratuity to my order automatically regardless of the number of people. I have no problem adding a tip/gratuity but to make it automatic that makes no sense. SMG should increase the pay of their employees and not force an added charge to customer's bill. Very disappointed. I'm not going back.See more..
Did you know there’s an indoor waterpark in Flint, Texas that features a lazy river, waterslides, a wave pool and many other attractions? The Waterpark at Villages Resort offers 25,000 square feet of fun for the entire family, making it one of the largest in Texas. And the 19,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed recreational area is climate-controlled for year-round fun, with a retractable roof that allows for open-air excitement in the summer. We went here for a Sesame Street performance with Elmo. Well run event but the extra fees were ridiculous. Tickets were $69 per person plus $21 fee per ticket. Then meet and greet was another $25 per person. Then the concessions and souvenirs were not cheap. At least parking was free. I am not sure how much of this is the Ford Center but it really makes for an expensive event.See more..

I played here on a weekday. The online booking wouldn’t let me book the discounted green fee for a 1~Ball, so I rang the course and they said they would match it. I also booked rental clubs at $50 for the day- they were a pretty new set of Callaways with rogue driver, fairways and hybrid. On arrival at the course, the pro shop guy could not have been more helpful and friendly; after the round he even sorted a towel I could borrow to grab a shower. The course was in great condition and the greens were really receptive. I didn’t see a cart service during my round but it wasn’t warm enough to worry about fluids. Overall I really enjoyed playing here, pace of play was good and it was a fair price.See more..
3.5Woodrose Winery(101 reviews) - Not Traditional Texas Wine Monday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
The Woodrose Winery is located far off the road among farms and ranches and back a long lane Very relaxing just getting there. We tried the whites 6 for $10. The flavors are unique and dry. While we are not favorable to dry wines, the others with us loved them. The staff was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. Next time we go we will try the sweet whites more favorable to our pallet. The only difficulty we had was figuring out which building contained the tasting as there are no signs indicating as such. The tasting is in the first building of the five building complex.See more..
I had read reviews and was prepared. The ship does need a major overhaul and I hadn't thought about all the stairs for my friend. It was difficult to be outside with the bugs that were flying around but we found a dark place away from the lights and avoided them. The owners were very nice and took good care of us. The food was good and plenty of it. We had chicken with mashed potatoes and corn and bread pudding dessert. The parking area wasn't large but many people had taken a taxi and avoided any hassle. It was a very nice evening and I hope the new owners will keep this lovely ship afloat!See more..

3.5The Shops at Terell(89 reviews) - A great stop around a holiday Factory Outlets
I always stop in to shop around a holiday weekend. Like Labor day or Memorial Day they always run big sales and deeper discounts. There are fewer stores than before, due to the difficult brick and mortar retail stores are experiencing. But definately worth a stop.See more..
I went with my partner to ride the trails, and man was it not great. we found a great place to park near the trails entrance. The fee was a bit hasty, but worth it. I wouldn't know what the rest of the lake is like, but I would say; If you ride dirt bikes, or an atv, definitely check out the place.See more..
Recliners are very comfy but the service and prices are not nice at all. 40 dollars for popcorn, two adult beverages, and some mediocre chicken strips. Guess it is not after all a restaurant.See more..

This was my first visit to a castle and I must say it was a neat experience. It's a great place for photos and touring the inside was fun except for how crowded it was. You can climb to the tops of the towers if you want but there were so many people that we felt a bit claustrophobic. You do get a lunch with your tour. It's a sandwich, cookies, and donuts. The donuts are delicious!! To get to the castle they have you meet at the Bakery in town to pay and get a wrist band then you have to drive out to the castle. The only downside is the owner of the castle seems a bit rude and talks in a very monotone voice. He didn't really mingle and have conversations with people so I'm guessing maybe he's just not a people person. Overall we had a good time but maybe shorten the intro a bit cause spending 45 minutes in the hot sun was ridiculous. Price of admission is $20 See more..

Visited Western Playland Amusement Park over the Memorial Weekend. We attempted Wet-N-Wild Waterworld however; there was a concert and the lines were way too long. We decided to take the kids to Western Playland. The park is very small however; it has great potential to grow. My guess is that it will expand with more rides in the near future. It is very clean and well maintained. It has enough rides to keep two small children entertained for at least 2-3 hours. I understand they moved this amusement park to its current location in Sunland Park about one year ago. It is now in a better location. See more..

3.5Capital of Texas Zoo(62 reviews) - The Capital of Texas Zoo has a great variety of animals. Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Zoos
The zoo is small and off the beaten path near Austin. We were visiting the Circuit of the Americas and had an extra day. While it is small, the animals seem well cared for and also were much more active than most of the larger zoos. I read where to owners have special love to care for the animals. I like the prairie dog area where they seem to be gaining a foothold.See more..
3.5Huge Pair of Legs(62 reviews) - Cheesy and out in pasture Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
This attraction may have been fun at one time (evidenced by the graffiti on the “legs” )but now just a cheesy attraction fenced off from visitors. A bit hard to find and nothing to read about the history of the attraction. But if one has 15-20 minutes to detour off I27 then a photo might make a neat memory. Cannot understand why an hour is suggested for this attraction.See more..

I feel like a VIP when I go to this theater. I like being served at my chair during the movies. I enjoy the set up they have for reserving your seats online. It is a $1.50 fee, but so worth it to know exactly where you are going to sit and to slide right as the movie starts. The food has been pretty good. Some things I got were better than others. Most of the time the service has been okay. Occasionally I will get less than good service, but it usually doesn't interfere with our movie experience enough to keep us from coming back. The prices are though. We only attend this movie theater with groupons. To go without a coupon is too expensive for our tastes.See more..

3.5Rattlers & Reptiles(53 reviews) - New and Improved. Monday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Zoos
Two years ago we stopped here. Motorcycle parts littered the grounds. I went inside to check it out and decided to NOT bring me kids inside due to the conditions. Fast forward to 2020. As we drove past I noticed the grounds had been cleaned so I stopped for a look. Inside was completely cleaned out. The displays were nice and informative. Snakes well cared for. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. I have never seen a more diverse collection of rattlesnakes. So much variety and so beautiful. If you look at all the poor reviews you will see they are from “before.” For the small town of Fort Davis this is definitively worth the admission. See more..

3.5The Scuba Ranch(47 reviews) - L O N G wait to get in. Scuba & Snorkelling
If you come on Saturday expect to wait an hour to get in, even if you have the paperwork complete. It took us 1 hr and 10 mins to get to the window to pay. Don’t worry about getting your paperwork filled out before hand, you’ll have plenty of time to do it when you get here. If you don’t have service they have iPads for you to use. If you are coming back on Sunday, they will charge you for both days and give you a car pass, so you don’t have to wait in line. MUCH better. We just drove straight through. Since they have swimming closed, there were lots of kids swimming and jumping from the pier where we were at. Very annoying for drivers trying to get in and out of the water. We were on the left side at the very end. Not sure if we will be back.See more..
