L O N G wait to get in.

If you come on Saturday expect to wait an hour to get in, even if you have the paperwork complete. It took us 1 hr and 10 mins to get to the window to pay. Don’t worry about getting your paperwork filled out before hand, you’ll have plenty of time to do it when you get here. If you don’t have service they have iPads for you to use. If you are coming back on Sunday, they will charge you for both days and give you a car pass, so you don’t have to wait in line. MUCH better. We just drove straight through. Since they have swimming closed, there were lots of kids swimming and jumping from the pier where we were at. Very annoying for drivers trying to get in and out of the water. We were on the left side at the very end. Not sure if we will be back.

    Good vis, average experience
I've been here several times. The staff is generally tolerable although they aren't the friendliest. My main concern with the place really isn't the staff it's the other guests. Last time I went it was over crowded and the other dive classes were extremely rude. Other guests act like certain areas of the park are theirs. If you need to use the restroom you can count on someone beating on the door 10 seconds after you lock the door. A park like this has the potential to make great profits and be a great place to go. Some suggestions I'd have would be to remove the porto potties and build small bathrooms with septic systems (nobody likes using a porto potty and in the long run it would be cheaper on them). They should have a max occupancy for divers at the park; of course they shouldn't count spectators, etc. because they don't really take up lake space. The staff acts almost like the staff at a government office. They think you HAVE to be there so they just kind of "deal" with you. At a place like this, staff should be riding around on golf carts asking if you need any tanks filled and just visiting with clients.

    Great place for the location
This place has about the clearest water you're going to ding without driving 100 or 200 miles. Sure it's expensive but so is driving to Austin. If you want to dive in NTX where else can you go. The complainers below need to wake up NTX is clay with clay you have cloudy water deal with it or go swim at the YMCA. Too expensive for you? Buy your own gravel pit, insurance if you can find a company to even wrote a policy for a dive park and then complain about the cost.
