5.0National Museum of the Pacific War(3.841 reviews) - Insightful and Interesting Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Military Museums • History Museums
Open Wednesday - Monday. Formerly the Nimitz Museum, the complex is now the only museum in the Continental United States centered on World War II's Pacific campaign. Since 1968, the Museum has expanded to occupy a six-acre campus and gained a reputation as one of the premier military museums in the nation. Over the years the Museum was upgraded and enlarged, and the campus grew to accommodate the Memorial Courtyard, the Plaza of Presidents, and the Japanese Garden of Peace. We opened the expanded George H. W. Bush Gallery in 2009. The Gallery's state-of-the-art 33,000 square foot exhibition features 40 media installations, approximately 900 artifacts in 97 climate-controlled cases, 15 macro-artifacts, and hundreds of photographs. Two blocks east of the main campus is the Pacific Combat Zone. Recently reopened after an $8 million renovation. The PCZ is also home to our popular WWII Pacific Combat Program that takes place on set weekends throughout the year.See more..

5.0Lake Travis Zipline Adventures(1.123 reviews) - So much fun! Sunday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
Our family has zip lined many times before, but this was such a beautiful and safe experience at LTZA. We booked in November, and the weather got cold and rainy. They were very accommodating and allowed us to reschedule for the next day when it was sunny. It required quite a bit of hiking, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb steps. The longest hike between zip lines was .48 mile, but there were benches along the routes. They provided plenty of bottled water for us at each stop. Our appointment was at 3:00, and the sun started setting right as we got back to the boat dock. It was a gorgeous view!See more..

5.0Sail with Scott(1.034 reviews) - Majestic Mother’s Day Sunday: 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM Boat Tours
What a beautiful evening to remember. A Starlight cruise With Captain Amy and Jackson. She certainly knows her business, and Jackson was equally as personable and helpful as she was. The lights From The Harbor were glistening on the water as she told us a story of the “Seawolf”… The experience of having a woman Captain was quite different than The storybook tale of a Grumpy Ole Pirate. My granddaughter just loved Captain Amy, and the chance to help steer. She called her the Pretty Pirate. Everything was perfectly timed, and was it very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend the sunset or starlight Cruise on the “Seawolf” to anyone.See more..

5.0Far Flung Outdoor Center(481 reviews) - Right Choice for Us Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
We took both a canoe trip and a Jeep trip in Big Bend National Park. Guides were knowledgeable and patient (especially important with first time canoeing). Deli lunch, included in all day tours, hit the spot. They paid very close attention to the axiom “leave only footprints.” Office staff was helpful and friendly. Price was all inclusive (other than well earned tips to guides), which didn’t seem to be the case with other tour companies. I’m glad I booked both tours, since it temperature was in the high 90’s, rather than mid 80’s that had been forecasted when I made trip plans. That sort of put the kibosh on hiking.See more..

The two hour horseback ride at Big Bend Stables was outstanding! We had fantastic patient horses that were easy to control and were very confident in negotiating narrow rocky trails while ascending and descending out of arroyos and crossing stream beds! Our guides, George and Amelia were very friendly, very professional, and made you feel completely comfortable on the trails. We had a spectacular sunset and I got to take a lot of photos of it and the spectacular scenery along the trails. 5.0Kyle Field(424 reviews) - A Gorgeous Stadium Full of Energy and School Spirit Arenas & Stadiums
This stadium takes football to a whole new level. It's nicer than any professional stadium we've ever been to and holds over 100,000 spirited Aggie fans. We came to town for the weekend and enjoyed watching the Ags win 34-0. Loved sitting right behind the head Yell Leader as he led the crowd in coordinated yells. School spirit shines strong here, and it's loud and boisterous just like college football should be. Don't miss the flyover at the beginning of the game and the Aggie band performing at halftime. I've never seen anything so well coordinated and precise. They allow you to bring a bottle of water in with you; take advantage of that because it can get brutally hot inside the stadium. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen too. A clear bag policy is in place. Concessions are available inside and outside the stadium. Fans are extremely friendly. Highly recommend attending a game for anyone who loves football.See more..
5.0Morgan's Wonderland(381 reviews) - Great experience! Sunday: Amusement & Theme Parks
This was our first visit and it was truly impressive not in terms of rides or world famous characters but in friendliness and accessibility for everyone. We brought a three year old a year and a half year old and a three month old. There was no place we couldn’t take our stroller and no stairs to be climbed making it possible for our year and a half year old to walk everywhere. There a carousel and Ferris wheel and other rides including a train all of which are completely accessible. It’s not large but for those with physical challenges or who are very young large is often impossible. But this was just the right size.See more..

Captain Tim treated us to a truly magnificent experience!! He was a fantastic captain with a beautiful boat and he made us feel safe and at home from the moment we stepped on board. He took us all around Lake Travis, told us stories and taught us about the boat, answered the many questions from our kids, and even let both of them steer the boat. And he took a bunch of pictures of all of us on top of that. We saw a beautiful sunset from the boat and then Captain Tim navigated us a bit further out so we could see the sun go behind the hill again. All four of us thought it was the highlight of our trip and we'd love to come back. Thanks so much, Captain Tim!See more..

Our tour guide Nate was wonderful. He was a geology major and was so insightful, gave us history of the river, river facts and tips on wildlife. I only wish I had brought some glow sticks for bracelets to jazz up my pictures. He even took great pictures for us. I loved it and would recommend to anyone!See more..

Unique to Escape This, each room experience presents a mystery that must be solved in order to escape the room. At Escape This, puzzles are not shared between rooms, and every challenge is different. While many escape rooms aim to shock and awe participants with scary rooms or lull them to sleep with rooms full of "busy work", Escape This provides a creative and intellectual experience with challenges that must be solved with logic and critical thinking, and not luck or aimless "Where's Waldo" searching. Unlike other escape rooms, challenges at Escape This can be solved in multiple ways. This means teams must think critically, work together, communicate and use strategic thinking to be successful. So if you are new to escape rooms, a seasoned enthusiast tired of escaping low level rooms in 15-20 minutes, or a business manager looking for that perfect team building event, Escape This is your place. Give us a call, or stop by to see what all of our great reviews are about. We look forward to having you!See more..
