Zach Theatre is one of the finest regional theaters n the U.S. Michael Learned was here this month performing in Mothers & Sons and she gave the theatre high praise. As a volunteer usher, I often meet New Yorkers who come here because of Zach and the high quality of their performances. We're fortunate to have a lot of local talent in Austin but our excellent Artistic Director, Dave Steakly, also brings in talent from elsewhere. www.zachtheatre.orgSee more..

5.0Zip Lost Pines(173 reviews) - Awesome activity (even during Covid) Wednesday: Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
Dual line course was sweet. Awesome guides with fun facts while waiting our turn. Great anyday! Beautiful views. Because Covid numbers are so high, I was very pleased to find a family activity where mitigation was easy. Everyone was cool wearing masks - needed as there are brief times while waiting your turn where social distancing isn't an option. It was easy to pull off to side for occasional mask breaks too. Nice to be out in the great outdoors!! Glad you are open!See more..

5.0Frio Bat Flight Tours(170 reviews) - Unique entertaining and educational experience. Nature & Wildlife Tours
Amazing experience. I'd love to go back in late June or August when the young bats are flying with their mothers. I've wanted to go for years, but had not made the time. I was really missing out. The guide was very knowledgeable, the history was interesting, and of course, the bats inspired gasps from all who attended. When you arrive everyone will park outside the gate and wait for the guide. They will come open the gate, let everyone in, and close the gate. It's a two mile drive to the site and a short walk up a well paved hill to the cave. It's a working ranch, so if you're late, you can catch up, but make sure you open and then close the gate so the cows don't get out. I will go see this each and every time I'm in the area.See more..

5.0The Grove(166 reviews) - Wonderful, historic home full of love and ghost stories Historic Sites • Ghost Towns
A one-hour tour of one of Jefferson's most historic - and haunted - locations. The Grove is an 1861 home that uniquely mirrors the history of the riverport city... and the ghost stories there go back over 100 years. The history of the home is fascinating; it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Along with the history, though, you'll hear ghost stories from the owners and find out just what it's like to live in a haunted home. Come visit The Grove for a peek into Jefferson's past... and a few residents who may still be hanging around!See more..
We just got off of our 2 hour trip with Case. Our shoulders and butts are a little sore but it was worth EVERY ache!! Case is very passionate not only about the ranch but his Panhandle roots. He sprinkled authentic stories of history, science and agriculture with humor (not off color but cheesy as hell ). It was evident he enjoys his job! This tour gives you an experience that you can’t get from just visiting the Palo Duro State Park (but recommend both). We booked this tour based on the strength of the reviews and it did not disappoint.See more..

5.0Magic's Theater(158 reviews) - Real Magic, the way it should be! Spent 1-2 hours Theaters
A hidden gem! As a former attendee of the legendary Magic Castle in Hollywood, I was thrilled to learn a former Castle performer has his own show in Austin/Dripping Springs. Presented in an intimate theatre inside a meticulously curated magic museum, John Magic is the real deal. His entire family presents the 90min show for a BYOB audience. 5.0Angell Expeditions(156 reviews) - Great Experience Kayaking & Canoeing
Angell Expeditions provided a great half-day canoe trip for eight of us through beautiful canyons in Big Bend State Park. 5.0Southlake Town Square(155 reviews) - Girls day with my daughter Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM Shopping Malls
First time for me to visit Southlake Town Square. It was very nice! My daughter has been many times. There are some really neat shops with very cool items. Many “mall” style shops as well. Lots to choose from, several testing areas/parks, restaurants and snack/dessert type shops as well. It is a great walk to check out all there is to see. Southlake did their town justice spending the revenue to put this together several years back. It’s very well kept, from what I saw in our 6 hours of walking around and taking in the shops and food and drinks. Having the beautiful day made it that much sweeter if a trip. See more..

This experience was AMAZING! We weren't sure if we wanted to book a "Fredericksburg" tour or a "Hill Country" tour and we decided on the Hill Country tour and we couldn't have been happier. Jodie was so warm and hospitable and extremely knowledgeable about the area and wineries we visited. We reminisced about the wine tour for our entire Texas vacation as we drove past some of the points of interest Jodie spoke about on the tour. The charcuterie board Jodie made for us was something right out of a cookbook - it arrived at the perfect time and was so delicious and yummy, we devoured it in what felt like seconds. LOL We would HIGHLY recommend this tour and would definitely book it again.See more..
We enjoyed strolling through the small but lovely gardens on a rainy afternoon. I think the mist added to the fanciful beauty. When you pay the small admittance fee, ask for the garden guide handout so you'll understand what you're seeing. Be sure to look for quirky things all over. (Actually, before you go, look up the gardens online and read the history. Knowing what the gardens have been through will add to your joy of seeing the beauty today.) If a visitor is in a rush, 30 minutes will do to see the grounds, but if you want to really enjoy what you're seeing . . . well, that could take as long as you have plus another visit! See more..
We brought about 20 people for a Sunday afternoon birthday gathering. We arranged to bring our own food and soft drinks for those who don't drink alcohol. We also purchased a few VMV platters. Most of our friends had been unaware of the vineyard and expressed how much they enjoyed your view and facility. Most were quite surprised by the quality of your wines, having thought that local wines were not near your standard. They'll return, especially when Monty Suffern plays again as this group enjoys his style of background music. Thank you for looking after us so wellSee more..
An INCREDIBLE experience! I can't wait to go back! Chris B Kreme was my tandem dive buddy and he was awesome! I immediately felt so much better that he has been jumping for 20 years. The whole experience was somehow so laid back and fun, but so incredibly regimented and safe without scaring you. They make it an effortless experience on your part. All you have to do is say "yes" to an extraordinary day and they make the rest happen! And don't worry, by the time it's time to jump out of the plane you are secured so tightly to your jump buddy, and they move you through so quickly you don't have time to panic. The second you start to question what you are doing you are headfirst in the air with the most magical view I have ever seen. From here on you won't want it to end. 110% will be back.See more..

I can't say enough great things about this place! I have 2 kids that are deathly afraid of heights so in booking this trip I expected that I would end up with the kids and letting my husband have all the fun. The Staff was absolutely amazing in getting both my kids to Zip Line. My oldest who is 12 did every single line. My youngest who is 9 would not do the first line or second line. The Staff was so positive and reassuring that they convinced her to try it and that they would be there to stop her and take care of her. She agreed and now I have a child asking to do it again!See more..

Not only was it a fun experience, but they know what they’re doing, were extremely organized and had everything well thought out and planned. This is exactly what a first time jumper wants. At no time did I feel unsafe or even uncomfortable. These guys (and women) are who you want to jump with on your first jump. And don’t forget the video package. This is legitimately a top tourist attraction too for anybody visiting Houston. I was so impressed to see something so large and beautiful that seemed it belonged in India or Middle East with its architecture and natural beauty. We were surprised to learn this existed but after being recommended, we took a trip and we’re shocked to see the largest Hindu temple in North America built solely by volunteers!! The place is also staffed with volunteers who can guide you and direct you to the cool spots of temple. I also liked that although there were other visitors, it is so large that we did not feel on top of others. The temple also includes a general purpose hall and the Shayona vegetarian cafe as well as a store selling vegetarian sweets and snacks!!See more..
