   Horrible! Told my daughter that "we just talked to your mother and she wants you to sign up for a membership".....come to find out my wife NEVER mentioned that to the employees at this location. I have called and talked to the manager and she said there is nothing we can do, you signed up for a 12 month membership and she has to honor that. Talking to the manager, "there is nothing in my notes indicating this happened"....so no one added in the notes that they are going to tell this young girl your mom approved the membership, I would hope not.    It's truly sad to see how far this place has fallen. The building is dilapidated with multiple leaks in the roof. It bad when your crowd and gear has rusty water dripping on them during a show. Stay out of the bathrooms, besides being disgusting on a level of highway gas station, the walls are full of bees. So is the front porch. And yes they will attack you. The entire place is permeated with the fine aroma of dog piss, so that's nice, especially on a summer day. If your looking to book a show, look towards Bay city, just down the road. The Lockheed 10A plane, which has been owned by several individuals, including child movie star Margaret O’Brien. The Stagger Wing, built by Beech Aircraft, was used mainly for VIP’s, admirals, and dignitaries. The PT-22 was used by the Army Air Corps primarily as a trainer for rookie pilots. С таким же успехом можно было взять тур который предлагали таксисты в Батуми, это стоило бы дешевле, и я бы знала с самого начала на что подписываюсь. Вместо обещанного грузинского застолья нас привезли в обычный ресторан среднего качества, цены выше счем в Батуми. Уборная в этом ресторане просто ужасная, такую я еще не видела нигде.     BEWARE!! We booked our annual family fishing trip with Fellowship Fishing Guide Service for Memorial Day Weekend and the captain cancelled on us the day before the fishing trip, sighting high winds as the reason. We explained that we were looking at the same forecast and that the winds didn’t look concerning until later in the afternoon. We were told that he was not taking us and then Blake casually mentioned we could simply re-book another date. We explained that this was a family trip and that we had several people coming in from out of state specifically for this and we could not simply re-book. We asked if he could take us out and if we could fish until the wind picked up and we could return early if it became at all unsafe, and again, we were told that he was not taking us out. Since there was no compromise that we could offer It became very clear to us that Blake had other plans and was using this very thin excuse to get out of the commitment. To emphasize the complete falsehood of Blake’s excuse, the morning of our scheduled trip we asked the several persons at the bait shop if any guides were going out that morning, and were told that guides had been in the bait shop in the numbers that they would expect on a holiday weekend. We also witnessed multiple guides at the boat ramps taking their clients out. We watched from the bank as the winds were mild and pleasant and didn’t pick up until long after our scheduled return time. For a guide service that advertises as a “Fellowship” guide service, blatantly lying to your clients seems a little un-Christian like. I see that they do have many great reviews so I can only assume that when they actually do take clients out, it is a good experience. However, if you have an important family gathering do not rely on this guide because if he has something better to do, he will leave you sitting on the bank. See more..

    This is in New York, not Texas. I gave it one star so readers who were merely skimming would say, "pass" and move on, and close readers would read the review. BTW I have no idea how good the place in New York is, but I would like to guess five stars, I like being optimistic, and as long as there's no trash and the noise level is low, it should be good. When it comes to nature, most of us are just looking for a place to get away for a little bit- so no trash and no noise (and maybe being safe and being not too crowded) are all we are really looking for.     As a wine professional with a decade of experience, I cannot in good faith leave a good review. As most people know once you open a bottle it's only good for a couple of days before it will go bad if not stored properly. They will open a bottle and leave it on the counter unrefrigerated with air in the bottle for a week and then serve it to customers. This is a direct health code violation and safety hazard. They were making the Sangria by pouring all the leftover wine into a plastic container and adding fruit mind you They did not refrigerate after doing so. The first time I tried it, it had mold in it. Before they got a new chef they had lots of expired food that they were serving to customers and not checking expiration dates. The list goes on and on of health code violations and safety issues like no sprinkler system, no vent hoods in the kitchen not even Fire extinguishers in the bar or kitchen. They're even buying their beer at HEB and not through TABC. I have brought this to the attention of the owner more than once even giving him free connotations on wine, storage, health and food safety, pairings, prices, etc... none of which was done, which is fine but the health and safety, and wine storage is extremely important because it can make people extremely sick! I have literally seen wine with large globs of mold floating inside of the bottles! See more..

    We have visited Market Hill every season for years. We have eaten in the restaurant many times and bought from their vendors often, never again. My husband and I went to eat with a group. He wasn't very hungry but wanted a few bites so I got a little extra on my plate. As soon as he took a bite off of my plate we were accosted my the owners son, Jake I believe. We looked at each other confused knowing we did nothing wrong and continued eating. Upon leaving he again shuffled over to us got in my husband's face and said, I hope you enjoyed your free meal, very confrontational and aggressive, again we ignored him. He then yelled something out the door as we were leaving so I turned around and yelled, What is your problem and he ran and hid in his daddy's store. I am not unreasonable or cheap, had he simply come over and nicely told us eating off of each others plate wasn't allowed I would have apologized and paid for second plate. In fact just because I never want my reputation to be as a thief I went back the next day and paid for an extra dinner. Perhaps he was drunk or maybe he is slow but his immature way of handling the situation lost the whole of Market Hill our business and eight other customers we bring with us.     Sad to say our family of 15 rented the 32' double decker pontoon boat for today, the 4th of July. I reserved the boat about a month ago and received my confirmation email. Then, we called yesterday to check on the reservation and were told to call back around 8pm because they were too busy with other customers to help us. Then we got a call this morning, 2 hours before we were to be there to get the boat, stating that our boat broke down yesterday and all they had was a 21' boat for us today. 1. Not the same, can't accommodate us, 2. They were very rude about it, offering no kind of compensation or even an apology. They have a policy that you have to pay them in full if you cancel your reservation last minute. What's the policy when they cancel on you last minute?? So many excuses about being busy and boats breaking down...you're in business...hire more staff. Your rentals aren't cheap, after all. Also the website advertises falsely as to what's really included in the boat rental, at least for our 32' pontoon party boat. It shows a sink, but I was also told this morning that the sink was destroyed a while back by partiers and is yet to be fixed. Probably a blessing after all that we didn't rent from you today.
