    Fantastic time!
We recently visited Palo Duro Canyon and booked a horseback ride through Cowgirls and Cowboys in the West. We had an awesome experience. Brooke and Braydon led our group, and extra care was provided for my 78 year old mother that rode with us. The experience was everything that we were hoping it would be! We had a couple of experienced riders with us, a couple of inexperienced riders, and two riders at 78 and 80 years old. Everyone had a great time. Brooke and Braydon narrated with local history, and coached the group at some of the more challenging parts of the trail to where everyone felt comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic riding experience in the Panhandle!
If you're looking for the best riding experience up in the Texas panhandle, this is the place to go. My friend and I were camping at Palo Duro Canyon State Park and had originally signed up for a morning ride, but when a storm came in the owner called us and moved us to the sunset ride free of charge, which actually worked better for us anyway. Cowboys and Cowgirls in the West offered a longer ride than the stables in the park for the same price , and you ride along the canyon rim so you get equally spectacular views. Our guides (Lauren, Madison, and Wyatt) were all friendly and knowledgeable, and taught us a lot of cool history about the cowboys and native american tribes that used to live in the area. I really enjoyed chatting with them as we rode, and they were also great about taking photos for us. They also encouraged us to spread out and take some side trails if we felt comfortable which, as a somewhat experienced rider, made the trip a lot more fun for me! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking to ride around Palo Duro/Amarillo, and would absolutely come back!
