Stretching just over three miles, these spectacular caves beneath the hills east of Nerja contain impressive stalactite and stalagmites formations. Discovered by accident in 1959, the cave has many well-marked routes, though not all are open to the public because of conservation and archaeological efforts. Cave paintings, fossils and skeletal remains have been excavated here, which you can find displayed at the Nerja Museum. Hop on the red tourist train to get to the caves from Nerja. During peak seasons, opt for skip-the-line tickets to jump ahead or take an exclusive night tour for fewer crowds. – Tripadvisor See more..

Hop aboard a glass cabin and enjoy a 2.4-mile long journey over Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and stop at the Observation Deck on the way up for some photos. Your scenic gondola ticket grants access to hiking trails, climbing walls, and zip lines. In the winter, don’t miss out on a bundle deal where you can experience the thrill of riding an alpine coaster. – Tripadvisor See more..

    COASTER image
Great way to travel between Oceanside and San Diego. Trip was quick, 1 hour and train ride was smooth and comfortable. Several stops along the route where you can get off the train and spend time and then catch the next train. The trains run on time so be there or wait for the next one. The only downside and word of caution…….when you buy your ticket you must travel that day, you can’t buy a ticket for say a ride 2 days from now. See more..
