Fantasmic! is a combination of live action and projected Disney images and movie clips on a mist screen. It features fireworks, pyrotechnics, lasers, searchlights, decorated boats, water effects and animatronics, all coordinated to various familiar sound clips taken from Disney movies and broadcasts. It is usually performed twice a night on the Rivers of America from Tom Sawyer’s Island and lasts about 25 minutes. Better seating for the reserved sections can be obtained for visitors who purchase a dining package at the Blue Bayou, New Orleans Square Restaurant, River Belle Terrace or Hungry Bear Restaurant. Our reserved area from the Blue Bayou was close to the water in the middle section and included a foam pad to sit on. The basic story is a voyage through Mickey Mouse's imagination that culminates in a battle against various Disney Villains. This show is an enjoyable experience and should NOT be missed.See more..
4.5Children's Fairyland(242 reviews) - Fun for short people of all ages Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Amusement & Theme Parks • Rides & Activities
Children's Fairyland is a magical mid-century park where young children can create, imagine, play, and learn all day long, located on the shores of Lake Merritt in Oakland, California. We cater to the eight and under crowd (and their families)!See more..
Top tip! Do single rider line, first time we were on the ride in 10 mins second time 20 mins. This was when the average wait in the standby queue was 60-120 minutes. I got to ride with my husband on both rides, it’s pot luck but worked out for us. Definitely worth doing the ride, it’s fun and fast.See more..
4.5World of Color - Celebrate(171 reviews)from $285.00 - Better than the fireworks show Rides & Activities
At night the lake in California Adventures becomes aglow with colored lighting and water geysers. The show is synchronized with music and faces and scenes are projected on to the water flow. At a couple points fire shoots out of the lake. The coordination of all the features is masterful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and my grandson was mesmerized when the fire shot up, The show appeals to all ages. You can see the show from many places in California Adventure without reserved seating- you will likely need to stand unless you have arranged for preferred seating. Reserved seating can be arranged in coordination with dinner at certain of the restaurant venues nearby. The show lasts about 15 minutes.See more..
4.5Pirates of the Caribbean(164 reviews)from $285.00 - Pirates you can smile about Rides & Activities
Pirates of the Caribbean should be ridden by everyone visiting Disneyland. Ride is now old but they periodically update it (latest changes is adding Captain Jack Skelly). Ride is fun for all ages- no jolts, no significant drops just a fun journey. As someone else said this is a good ride for the middle of a hot day as it is indoors and cool and lasts for 10 minutes or so. On non-busy days the wait for the ride is small (we had a wait of under 10 minutes). For smaller children there is a battle scene with guns going off that might bother them. The ride is also in the dark for the most part which I suppose might bother some.See more..
Me and my daughter loved this ride. It was so amazing and felt so real. The added scents made it even better. It’s a must try!See more..
4.5Space Mountain(155 reviews)from $285.00 - Great old school thrill ride - in the dark Rides & Activities
This is an iconic ride at Disney and everyone needs to ride it. It is a roller coaster that does not have big hills and falls. Instead it is in the dark, so you just have to feel the ride and hear the cheers and squeals of other people in the other cars. My kids all screamed through the whole thing (happy screams). It is always busy, so definitely expect a time commitment for the line. The only thing that did not age well is that it is not built for "line entertainment" like newer rides. The video welcoming you near the door (before more lines inside) repeats so many times you get sick of it. As others have said, this is one worth running to when the gates open first thing in the morning or getting a lightning line reservation.See more..
4.5Haunted Mansion(139 reviews)from $285.00 - Great ride and loved getting to see the Nightmare Before Christmas treatment Rides & Activities
I have always looked forward to this ride, not because it is scary or has big drops, but it is just fun. This was the first time I was ever able to see the Christmas treatment with Nightmare Before Christmas add ons. My kids liked the ride but probably thought I was a bit odd in wanting them to go on it before the lines got long. I will say that things can actually be scary for young kids. There was a little guy who screamed and lost it in the elevator and refused to go any further. Poor little guy had to go out a side exit with his dad. I will always hit this ride whenever in a Disney park. It will be closed January 10-20, 2022 to restore it to the usual non-holiday version.See more..
4.5Indiana Jones Adventure(137 reviews)from $285.00 - Great classic ride, ride it first thing in the morning Rides & Activities
This is our favorite ride. Indiana Jones is an old ride, it break down a lot. So ride it first thing in the morning (preferably come at rope drop). Having genie + is a plus during peak season, which means you can ride this again without waiting in a long queue. We like this ride so much we rode it 4x during our 3-day visit. Actually, the third time we rode, there was a technical issue, we waited in the car for about 10 min, they fixed it, After the ride was over, the cast members asked if we wanted to go one more time, of course everyone wanted to go. So we got to ride twice in one round.See more..
4.5It's a Small World(128 reviews)from $285.00 - Tremendous ride for kids of all ages Rides & Activities
A must do ride for folks with kids. I've been on it many times over the years and will admit it is not my favorite-( I like a bit more action). That said I have ridden it the last two times with my grandson- at ages 3 and 8 and he always considers it one of his favorite rides and we are sure to be serenaded by the theme song on the ride back from Disneyland. My wife considers it a must do for herself. On a hot day it does offer a cool time break as most of it is indoors with air flow. The concept of all of the worlds people sharing joy is great.See more..
4.5Incredicoaster(111 reviews)from $285.00 - By Day One Way by Night Another Rides & Activities
This is a fabulous upgrade to the California Screamin. Who ever thought that adding a story to this rollercoaster would make it that much more INCREDIBLE. They did an amazing job of incorporating voice overs telling the story that you can hear so clearly; feeling like your part of the story itself. It's great in the day time, but a must see at night. The lights of the characters really pop; making the story more alive! Don't forget to grab that snap shot of your ride at the end. The rollercoaster may be the same configuration as before, but it has become a whole new experience that keeps us coming back for more!See more..
Other than Rise of the Resistance, this was the ride my kids talked about most and so we went back and did it again on our second day in the park. Having had the chance to ride it during the day and at night, I agree with the comments on nighttime being better. The lighting is great and it just adds to the experience. Just like all Disneyland coasters, there is no big drop, so the focus is on changes in direction and going through scenery for the experience. Line was about 45 minutes each time we went, but I even enjoyed standing in line more at night. Also plenty of nostalgia from riding this as a kid.See more..
Since the last time we rode Star Tours 3 years ago, it's been changed again. This time Rise of Skywalker has been released and our ride included a couple of the planets from the movie. I don't know if you can go to other planets (we rode it twice and only the beginning was different on our 2 rides), but it was still cool to "visit" the planets in the movie. Fast passes are recommended as it gets busy by early afternoon.See more..

4.5Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters(91 reviews)from $285.00 - One of the best attractions at Disneyland. Great for all ages. Rides & Activities
You enter and are greeted by Buzz, himself. Your mission is to blast targets along the ride. The more you hit the higher your score though some targets are worth more than others. Stay sharp the targets are on all sides of you. Your score totals before your eyes on the front railing of your vehicle. Two folks generally to each vehicle. You will score better the more you ride the attraction and it never gets boring. You can get a big break if there is a temporary stop of the ride-just keep blasting at the targets near you and add to your score. I rode with my grandson and we both had a great time. Line can get long- you can use a fast pass but if you get there early in the day the line is not bad.See more..
A fun journey in your log with about six people total one per row. Those in front will normally get wetter than those in back but everyone will get wet. A good ride all the time it is even better on warm days. Part of the ride is inside the mountain. There are a couple of dips with the last one being the deepest drop, A few jolts but nothing like the old mouse type coasters. Smile because you are on camera-you can copy your photo at the end of the ride. Line was not bad on a weekday but then we jumped in-line shortly after the ride had been down for sometime. Fast Pass is available.See more..
5.0Toy Story Midway Mania!(86 reviews)from $285.00 - Google this ride before you ride !!! Rides & Activities
We always love this ride. Each time we visit this park we do it at least 3 or 4 times. This was the first time that I realised there was more than just skill to it. I always wondered how people got such high scores until I did a search on the ride and found there were many tricks and tips that you need to follow. If you play it normally it's fun, but if you know the tips and tricks it becomes addictive and you want to try again and again to unlock some of the unique scenes.. Worth googling the ride before doing it and you'll have so much more fun...See more..
4.5Jungle Cruise(83 reviews)from $285.00 - Always a favorite. Grandson insisted we go on it a second time the same day Rides & Activities
You board your boat with about 30 other people and leave the dock with the warning you may never return but at least at Disneyland you always do (same ride at Disney World had a boat take on water). You head down the rivers encountering animals and reptiles- some in the water moving towards your boat others on shore. You will pass some scenes that are not joyous ( zebra being hosted at a banquet by lions and Joe the shrunken head salesman. All the while you will be entertained by the captains' jokes (very corny) and repeated by all the captains with pretty much the same delivery.See more..
Arie'ls Undersea adventure was one of my favourite rides of the day. Yes adults acting like children but what else is Disneyland for?! The animatronics and taking you through scenes of the movie along with the music was wonderful. Don't miss this ride.See more..
4.5Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey(80 reviews)from $109.00 - Great ride but might be a little scary for young kids Spent < 1 hour Rides & Activities
We came here on a Tuesday in mid-September and this ride was a walk on when the park opened. There is a lot to see in the queue but because there wasn't a line, we didn't spend too much time looking at what they had done with Hogwarts. What we did see was quite amazing. The ride itself is a fun one but can be a little scary for young kids. You do get close to giant spiders and dementors. The ride also moves in almost all directions like you are flying on a broomstick so those who get motion sick might not enjoy it as much. We appreciate the free lockers to put our stuff in prior to riding this. The "Hogwarts students" standing at the entrance are there to help you if you need any. This is one of the better rides at Universal Studios.See more..

4.5Grizzly River Run(70 reviews)from $285.00 - Best water ride ever! Rides & Activities
I love this ride and want to experience it every time I visit the part. The line moves fast and the the ride decor is awesome!See more..
Such a cute ride as you relive the movie! The best part of it however is the very end when you have an encounter with Roz! She is the bomb!!! See more..
We love the Walking Dead and this attraction did it justice. I don’t want to give anything away but it is definitely not for children or those easily scared. I think they are missing a trick by not having a gift shop....Rick Grimes would be proudSee more..
This is a fun ride but we have been on it many times over the years at Universal Studios Singapore. It is a loud, 4D (water is squirted at you) moving ride that puts you in the middle of a battle in a Transformers movie action sequence. Best thing was there was no wait when we went on a Tuesday.See more..
We got to this ride early and had no real line. The effort here for getting you into the ride is amazing. The details from little pokes and puffs of air to make you think beetles are crawling on you is excellent. The roller coaster is good too, but the backwards part triggered my vertigo - so the kids went with my wife for a second ride immediately. A truly great ride all around.See more..
4.5Studio Tour(48 reviews)from $109.00 - Amazing! Spent More than 3 hours Rides & Activities
I absolutely loved the backlot tour! It was a thrill ride! You definitely need to do this when you visit Universal.See more..
Jurassic Park themed boat ride. Leisurely pace initially with lots of animated dinosaurs to see. The thrill is the giant drop at the end. We got soaked. Great on a hot day. Probably avoid in winter or wear something to help keep you dry. Great fun.See more..
There are 3 rides in Universal Studios that are more catered for younger kids and this is one of them. It is a 3D motion simulator "ride" where you get turned into a minion. Fun but childish. While rides like The Mummy and Transformers had walk on lines, this one had a 20 minute wait, probably because there were more little kids in the park.See more..
Great concept of a ride. It’s actually a simulator but funny and enjoyable! Suitable for all ages in the familySee more..
3.5Flight of the Hippogriff(25 reviews)from $109.00 - Really needs a redesign Rides & Activities
We went to Universal Studios in Orlando 9 years ago and even back then this ride was just a bit sad. It is really for very young kids. Since there are other rides catered to younger kids in the park, maybe they should redesign this ride and make it more fun for everyone else. The only saving grace was there was no line when we went on it.See more..
