We did an early morning hike with Michelle from Tahoe Outdoor Adventures. Booking was super easy and the company paid close attention to our needs for a hike that did not overly stress a bum hip joint. MIchelle made sure we were properly kitted out with water, hand sanitizing wipes. She took us to her favorite out of the way spot near Emerald Bay and water falls. It was away from crowds of tourists. And, she took LOADS of family pictures for us! This was especially wonderful as it is rare to get all four of us together in one snap! We enjoyed learning the history of the area and more about the wildlife. We would highly recommend Tahoe Outdoor Adventures for your hike or paddle boarding adventures in Tahoe.See more..

Amazing experience! Small group experience. Gear safe, clean and well maintained. Did choose to by a pair of gardening gloves on site- but pricing was more than fair ($3/pair). Guide was professional, thoughtful and safety oriented while allowing group to move as fast or slow as they were able. I am more adventurous than fit 55year old female. Was as much mentally challenged as physically. Thanks to our guide, Riley, reading the vibe of our group correctly- group was able to complete the Sundial loop in just under 3 hours. So. Much. Fun. One bit of advice: wear a light backpack to carry TWICE as much WATER as you think you will need. Will be on our list of adventures next time we are in the area.See more..

What an amazing experience! We went white water rafting on the Kern with JP who was fantastic, friendly and very professional throughout. I was apprehensive about the exparience and afraid about falling out of the raft. He gave us an oppurtunity to swim for a while in the calmer waters and then literally hauled me out of the water onto the raft by the straps on my lifejacket like a fish which eased my insecurities! I thouroughly enjoyed everything about the rafting experience and amazed myself and my husband by doing rock jumping. All in all, a totally exhilarating morning which I will never forget, and would definitely reccomend!See more..

We took the youth from our church on a 4-day summer camp adventure and it was the best decision we have ever made! Our children were blessed the moment they set foot on the grounds. The staff were amazing and all of us made a connection with our counselor, Shelby. So much so, that they haven't stopped talking about her and are excited to go again next summer (we already booked our dates). All of the adventures were wonderful! Some stretched our kids and brought them out of their comfort zone, which was great to witness. The staff came along side of them and encouraged them when they were hesitant but were never pushy to make them do something they didn't want. We feel so blessed to have been able to go to this camp and highly recommend it to anyone that wants a great Christian Camp experience.See more..

Our instructor, Jim "The Machine" made our climbing trip to Joshua Tree the best we've ever had. Not only is Jim incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, he is just a downright good dude! We spent 8 hours with Jim and we could have spent 8 more. We learned more than we planned to learn and had a blast the whole time. We had to move our reservation around due to weather, but Jim was happy to accommodate. I will 100% book a trip again and I am so stoked to go out and climb with Jim - it'll be like reconnecting with an old friend!See more..

Petch had quick replies to email and texts, and answered all my questions. Our guide was Patrick and he made us feel confident and safe. My wife and I went with our 2 kids, a 10yo girl and an 8yo boy, and we all had a great time. We chose the half-day option and did two top ropes each at Lovers Leap, and the kids got to rappel on the third climb. Would definitely go again. They accept cash, check and Venmo. Don't forget to tip your guide if you had a great time! You'll probably meet in Strawberry, California, which is about a 30-40 minute drive from South Lake Tahoe.See more..
