4.0Henry Miller Memorial Library(121 reviews) - Funky little outdoor/indoor book store with beautiful history tucked in a cabin amongst the redwoods Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Libraries
This place is such a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stop so much. Tucked back in the redwoods with funky, outdoor art installations, a book store to peruse and make purchases from, and a stunning place in natural beauty to relax to enjoy reading your new find— what’s not to love. Would have only been made better if there was a way to purchase something to drink- we would have stayed longer. They were about to have an open mic which would have been magical underneath the majestic redwoods. We enjoyed our little stop and would recommend to lovers of literature and art with a lovely, subversive vibe.See more..
This is an amazing library space for all ages. Outside glows gold and white with curves and straight edges, beautiful. Inside all ages are catered for, the children’s space is wonderful, it has a huge dinosaur, light house, ceiling painted like a blue sky. There is very high quality child friendly furniture and lots of books and computers to use. There is an art space, music area, so inspiring. The teen area is a delight and the adult area reminds me of a cruise ship. Everything is perfect.locsl use it free but you can pay $100 per year and get access. All the fittings are well maintained and highest quality. They found someone to show us the meeting rooms, fantastic. Maintained by the city. And something they can be truly proud of. 4.0Paley Center for Media(68 reviews) - Essentially Paley - Essentially Marilyn Closed now Speciality Museums • Libraries • Educational sites
We visited our local Paley Center for Media initially to support a local Beverly Hills #BoldBH initiative with a local artist Alexa Meade but upon arrival we realized that there was a beautiful and historical exhibit called: "Essentially Marilyn" and many of her original dresses from a selection of her movies were on display. What I love about the Paley center is that they have items on display that are icons of the entertainment industry and were actually used in film and television. They are local historians covering many genres and eras keeping history and entertainment alive. What I also love is that there is always something new from entertainment history to see.See more..

5.0Central Park Library(17 reviews) - Lots of books, DVDs, CDs, Periodicals & Computers Spent 1-2 hours Libraries
This is Santa Clara's Main Library, just loaded with books in a city that is very digital. This modern library also have lots of desktop computers. The lower level is where the cafe, restrooms, meeting room, children area, teen area, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and checkout area is. I was looking for magazines, I walked up the wide and scenic stairs to the second floor. The stairs have a beautiful view of Central Park. Lots of Asian magazines, which is fitting for the demographics. There seems to be an entire shelf area for academics and career. This shows how educated the library patrons are. This is a great place for students as the upstairs is a like a study hall. The library is clean and a relaxing place to browse, which is what most people will miss when everything can be accessed through their mobile devices. HIghly recommend this free and resourceful library.See more..
