We had never even heard of this winery until we decided to stay at the Inn at Saratoga. The road up the hill is winding but the views of the valley are well worth it. They have picnic tables near the parking lot but you can’t quite see the valley from the benches. They hosted over 70 big name concerts last year at their amphitheater. The wine tasting area is well designed and the sofas and chairs outside the room look very inviting for a nice glass of wine. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is our wine tasting experience. Our goal was to grab a bottle of wine and have a picnic. When we mentioned we were interested in a bottle of one of their sweeter white wines, our host began lecturing us “look, there are over 1100 different types of grapes... and “basically you two are idiots for not expanding your palates to our wines starting at $46/bottle”. That attitude I can do without. See more..
4.0The Forum(310 reviews) - Great Experience! Spent More than 3 hours Theatre & Performances
Still during COVID pandemic when we attended concert, so many more restrictions with size of purse to enter, vaccinations, masks, etc. Sooo many people attending but I have to say the staff were helpful, courteous, and patient. Their professionalism made the concert more calmer with attendees' emotions focused more on the music, the performers, and the excitement of being there at The Beautiful Forum!See more..
Brought the 2020 new year in at Disneyland cleared security at 6.30 am and left the park at 12.30 am next morning. Best way to bring in a new year - 100,000 other people must have agreed as it was at capacity. 2 celebrations 9 pm and midnight. A long 18 hour day but we had the best time and have memories to last a life time.See more..

I just saw the San Francisco Symphony perform with Michael Tilson Thomas conducting in his final year with SFS. Tickets were scarce, and I wanted to be able to see the faces of MTT and his troupe, so I sprang for top cost best available. It was my first visit to Mondavi Center, and I was very impressed. The venue is lovely, and the amenities are excellent. The seats are larger and more comfortable than Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, and there is no bad seat that I could see. I am happy that I sprang for the high end seat I got, but I also now know that I don't need to do that in the future, any seat would be good.See more..
We attended a Art Garfunkel concert here. Sat up in the balcony. Sound was very good and did not blast my ears like so many other concert venues. The building itself is beautiful inside and just what you'd expect for such a concert venue. Didn't try the food and drink but they are available. See more..

The Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, actually located in Manhattan Beach is wonderful. The various shows they put on are all great. The seats are pretty comfortable and parking is free. The pricing of the their shows is very reasonable and you will have a great time. Everyone that works there is kind and they really will help you find your seats. The theater is not huge so there is not a bad seat in the house. We have been there many times, and they are kid friendly. Our last adventure was to see the Redondo Beach Ballet Company put in the Snow Queen. It was magical. We have not seen a bad play, musical or ballet there. They have tons of parking and there are wonderful places to dine near by. They also have a park right next to the parking lot, if you get there early and want your kid to blow off energy before the show. You will really like this place. We will be back again and again.See more..
5.0High Street Arts Center(25 reviews) - Local theater at its' finest Theatre & Performances
Too bad that there is not a ten-star rating because that is what the High Street Arts Center deserves for their production of "The Producers." I saw the same show in L.A. many years ago and have seen the movie and I cannot, for the life of me, understand how this theater company can produce such a high quality show when their ticket prices are not much more than one would pay to attend a movie. The theater is very comfortable; there is a concession stand which serves moderately-priced alcoholic beverages and other snacks; and there is free parking just across the street from the theater. No need to go to L.A., fight traffic, pay an outrageous amount to park your car and even more for theater tickets because you will be thoroughly entertained at the High Street Arts Center.See more..
The Kirk Douglas Theater is located in the heart of little downtown Culver City. It used to be a movie house and was built sometime in the late 40s or early 50s. It has been redone to the way it was and it is beautiful. The theater is small and intimate. It is the perfect place to see a play. It is run by the Center Theater Group, which also runs the bigger houses in downtown Los Angeles. The Douglas tends to have newer plays, sometimes viewing there for the first time. Parking is either on the street or in the back. You will find a space. The pricing is wonderful for such great plays they put on. You will love it, if you like original theater. Have a great time in Culver City.See more..

Bing Concert Hall's 842 seats are arranged in a "vineyard" format, with seating sections ringing the stage. What's more, the center-section seating begins on the same level as the stage. 5.0Los Altos Stage Company(8 reviews) - Great local theatre! Friday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Theatre & Performances Bus Barn Stage Company presents terrific shows in a small theatre just off San Antonio Road in Los Altos. Saw On Golden Pond there this week - fabulous show: acting, play, set design, director - the whole production was just excellent, the staff were delightful, and the theatre itself is a lovely place. Have also seen Wesla Whitfield, Mike Greensill and Dean Reilly perform their wonderous music there - and they are due there again in April. Also will look forward to the company's production of Avenue Q in May of 2013.See more..

4.0Castro Valley Arts Foundation(2 reviews) - Wish I could give it five stars Spent 1-2 hours Concerts • Theaters • Theatre & Performances The Arts Center is beautiful and the variety of shows offers something for everyone. But they have a continuing problem with the sound volume. Almost every show is much too loud for the size of the venue. Complaints to the management have no effect and they don't seem to notice that much of the audience leaves at intermission. I will not renew my season tickets.See more..
