I went to the Samtrans - San Mateo County Transit District Office to get a Clipper Card recently. On a Tuesday morning, around noon, there were no lines. The receptionist was courteous and helpful. Be sure to bring a photo ID when you go there. You need it for your senior or teen discounted Clipper Card as well as for getting a visitor's pass to go up to the receptionist window on the second floor of the building. Parking around there was free and easy to find. If you are there, it is really worthwhile to spend sometimes visiting the nearby businesses on Laurel Street, for good eats and shopping. See more..
