We came here for the Miranda Lambert Concert! Entry into the venue was rather easy, even with the large number of people. First time here and it was easy to find our seats with the guidance of the friendly guides and ushers. The center was clean and the seats very good. The concert was great, sound and video displays too! Leaving and back to our hotel was also easy. See more..
  2. 4.5 Marin County Civic Center (120 reviews)
    - Worth touring for Wright or architecture fans.

    Marin County Civic Center image
A masterpiece of architecture. The civic center is gorgeous to just wander around (quietly, it’s an active government building with courtrooms and county offices). If you’re visiting then the best thing is to take a guided tour. Tours are running as of 2022 and well worth scheduling to learn about this amazingly built and preserved landmark. See more..

Nice help from the nice lady there, she was very helpful and gave us advice, she was well informed so better able to advise us. Lots of brochures and notices of what is going on. Very clean and organized. It's not a massive visitor center, it's really an office, But then again, Solvang is a little town. So it is appropriate. See more..

What a great Saturday night at the races. Great place to take the who family to see the races. They have fast food, beer, cokes and bottled water for sale. We sat on the side where the pits are. The negative is the long walk to get there. it was our grandsons first race and we wanted to be where we could see him in between races. If loud noise bothers you, bring ear plugs because it is loud. We plan to go back again. See more..

This is one of the few buildings in our town that has not been burned down, or town down, and has remained a fixture of old Stockton history. There used to be events there every week, but i haven't been to many in past years. If you get the chance, go see the inside. Untouched and still magnificent in archtecture See more..

  9. 4.0 Fletcher Cove Community Center (2 reviews)
    - Historic preservation of WWII piece of our past
Spent < 1 hour Civic Centres
    Fletcher Cove Community Center image
Today, the center on top of the hill is a beautiful, bright-blue and white structure used by the community as a center but the plaques tell a different story. WWII barracks and a courthouse play into the mix. During the 1940's war, Army soldiers were stationed here in what was then their barracks and kept watch on the coast from their perches on top of towers called "pill boxes." About 10 years later, the building was used as a courthouse and was presided over by a judge who struck fear in the hearts of those who appeared before him. The Overlook Park path leads up here and it should be admire for the detailed mosaic inlaid work done on the path structures. Truly beautiful. See more..
