  1. 4.0 The Centurion Lounge (202 reviews)
    - Peace and tranquility in a sea of teeming humanity
Friday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM Airport Lounges

Between flights, we stopped in to eat and relax. It is a madhouse down there "in the gates" and up here it is airport-heaven. Attention is given to seating distances and masks are required when moving about the lounge. It makes us all safe after all. The meal service this time featured wonderful lemongrass chicken thighs and a range of healthy options like quinoa and wild rice dishes. There were many choices and the curry soup was exceptional. I suspect we sometimes plan our various flights around SFO airport just to get to this Centurion lounge. It is a guilty pleasure. See more..

  4. 3.0 United Club (79 reviews)
    - Decent lounges at SFO (except Polaris)
Friday: 5:00 AM - 12:00 AM Airport Lounges
    United Club image
United Lounges (depending on the time of day) tend to be very busy and sometimes it is difficult to find a seating place. Food choices vary, I would put them at average, same for drinks. House (free) wines and beers are usually at best the average ones. The exception is the Polaris Lounge (not part of this review, but it is a great high quality lounge). See more..
  5. 3.5 United Club (49 reviews)
    - Pre flight visit
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Airport Lounges

I had an hour and a half before my flight to Vancouver, so I took advantage of my United Air points and dipped into the United Club. After a warm greeting from the agents upon check-in I was faced with a plethora of breakfast goodies and an Espresso machine to help me wake up. I had my choice of; cereals, oatmeal, mini bagels and cream cheese, muffins, breads and jams, fruit and yogurt with a variety of tasty toppings. Also, sodas, juices and alcoholic bevs too. No hot foods though. I was sort of craving scrambled eggs this morning. Definitely a good spot to chill if you have a while before your flight. Free Wi-Fi and plenty of cozy seats to sit and relax. 6. 3.5 American Airlines Admirals Club (46 reviews)
    - Lovely lounge to recharge

American Airlines Lounge near Gate 13 of Terminal 1. We thought we had access to this lounge because of our Amex card but alas not. And to get to the Amex Centurion Lounge meant a long walk out of the building, so we’d have to go back through security. So we bought a day pass. Big shout out to Debbie who was so helpful in making the process easy. Upstairs we were able to log into the internet and get some business stuff out of the way. Having a quiet space to work is most appreciated. Internet connection was excellent. We’d arrived in time for the breakfast menu of scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins, bagels, yoghurt etc. But then that was removed and the lunch food came out of soft tacos with all the fillings, soups and other delicious food. Plenty of food for everyone. If you’d like an alcoholic beverage, you have to pay for this. Wheelchair accessible. Great staff and excellent customer service. See more..
