I will be back, it was a blast! I did 20 laps plus the 3 ride along laps. I would recommend the ride along laps before driving yourself. The quick 3 laps with a pro driver gives an idea of how fast the cars are and how they handle. You will feel what how hard these cars can be pushed with a high skill level. I felt safe all the time, they tell you there could be a max of 5 cars on track (4 customer driven cars plus one ride along vehicle, but despite being in a large group of drivers I never felt crowded on the track, was able to pass other cars, and very rarely did I actually see 5 cars at once. My family has been going to the track for the last five years. We have been going to the SRL race in February. We have seen some of the finest cars in the country come out to this race. Kyle bush has attend this race and many top nascar stars. Very fast track. Family friendly. We have camped out the last two years at the track with many other spectators and had a great time. We even had somebody from the track stop by our camp fire and have a beer with us.The weather did play havoc on the the racing in 2019 but we are still looking to come back in 2020. I am so sorry for haven taking so long to give this place a review. This place is amazing. I have been to this track many, many times over the last 5 years. It is a very enjoyable place to start HPDE. There are many crews out there that support HPDE at this track and they do so because it is one of the safest tracks, with plenty of runoff, easy to learn but hard to master configurations. The food service has always been great. Plenty of hotels and restaurants in the area so you cannot ask for much more.See more..

The track has changed hands since my review in 2010. The thrill of dirt track racing remains. The track is now partnered with Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. The main bleachers are divided for smoking and non-smokers. Many fans bring cushions and blankets to make the aluminum benches more comfortable. It gets loud, so consider hearing protection, especially for the kids. There are concession stands for hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, kettle corn, beer, and souvenirs. I miss having a program and a chance at prizes like before, but prices are reasonable and the races are the attraction. See more..

There are many classes of cars that race there weekly. If you live in Antioch, you probably hear them anyhow, you might as well see them too. I just took my 3 year old grandson and he was extremely excited. As a word of caution: if your children are sensitive to loud noises, bring eat protection for them.
