This was my first time rafting and I’m glad it was with Sierra Mac. A few friends and I booked a two day adventure and had a great time from start to finish. Our guides (Heather, Rhea, and Daniel) were super knowledgeable and were fun to interact with. Our boat had Heather as our guide and she kept us safe, but allowed us to enjoy the river inside and outside of the boat. Meals were very good, filling, and made fresh with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back next year and I would also recommend this trip to anyone thinking of doing it.See more..

Wow, what an amazing experience, Skydive Monterey Bay does an incredible job from start to finish! My jumpmaster, Volker, was so professional and made me feel completely safe, even though I was a little nervous as a first time jumper. The plane was fast at getting us to altitude. I did the 15,000 jump and it was incredible, amazing views, what a great location to do a skydive. Volker had us do a stand up landing, it was a breeze. I did, however, have an ear pressure issue that hit me the second we jumped which made me feel a little funky especially during the free fall. I would recommend looking into earplugs for jumping before going skydiving. I 100% recommend Skydive Monterey Bay to anyone thinking about jumping!See more..
We were a party of 5 and wanted to go whitewater rafting. We did the afternoon trip bc our teens did not want to wake up early. It didn’t matter what time of day we went bc the staff was so energetic and amazing. We felt super safe and distanced with everyone. Each group had their own raft and guide. The bus was social distances. They had tons of hand sanitizer. Masks required until getting in the raft. Lunch box was our guide (yes that is what he asked us to call him). He was so fun, told great stories, played w the teens, and was an expert at his job. We had a blast. There was an amazing photographer who took pictures (highly recommend you buy them it is well worth the $45). We truly felt this company was professional and fun. We would definitely come back and do a level 4 rapid. See more..

OMG!!! This was absolute AMAZING! If you are in Southern California and are a thrill seeker this is a must!! My son celebrated his 12th Birthday at SCA with some of his gymnastics buddies. They all can do Acrobatics in the gym and now they can also do them in the sky! They were all very excited and are still talking about the experience. They all are obsessed with the new top gun movie so you can just imagine how special this was to all of them. Everything about SCA was wonderful. The pilots, the customer service, the hangar, the planes, the scenery, the flight, learning to do the tricks and the videos. Two of the kids pulled 8gs!!! I’m soo happy I came across this on tiktok. Ive tried a few gold mining or panning places around the country. In Alaska, North Carolina, and even other places in California, but Jamestown Gold Panning beats them all. Miner John answered all my questions and showed me so many tricks of the trade. This isnt your typical tourist attraction, Miner John is a real gold miner and a great teacher. He was patient, helpful, and really enjoys what he does. I wasnt the only person mining on Woods creek that day, and he still found time to always be there to help me learn all about gold mining and make my experience that much better. He definately inspired me to want to spend my weekends outdoors panning for gold and to have a great time doing it!See more..

If you want a taste of the Nurburgring Racetrack without leaving Southern California, then the Porsche Experience Center is the place for you. There are a variety of packages for you to try out and actually drive real Porsche`s. The staff are friendly, professional and brimming with real behind the wheel experience. The track is full of twists, turns and varying surfaces, a fantastic way to put a high-end performance car through its paces, which I did and was an absolute thrill ride from start to finish. OMG!!! This place is the BEST! I read good reviews prior to coming here from Pennsylvania while on vacation in the San Francisco area. Came here upon request from my 18 year old daughter. My 17 year old daughter and I had no plans to skydive. After seeing all the excitement and talking to the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff we also decided to do our first skydiving experience. Special kudos to the staff Martin, Brad, Andi, Sergei, Red and Adam and Mo. Staff made us feel very safe and were absolutely incredible. I'm a 56 year old woman and I don't know what I was thinking to have done this but I can now cross this off my Bucket List. I highly recommend Parachute Center!See more..

David is an excellent coach. I especially recommend beginners to learn from him, because he can bring you up to speed within a day. I have had a full day lesson at a ski school before but can barely do a perfect parallel. I also used to struggle to ski on medium blue trails smoothly. After 3 hours of coaching from David, I can comfortably ski on medium blue trails.See more..
Visited here for my first ever jump. Was an amazing experience. But, the instructor (Ronaldo) was too pushy on buying the photo and video package right from the time i met him first till the end; even after clearing telling him that i dont need them. On the jump front, Ronaldo was amazing, gave all clear instructions and a good landing. And as mentioned in previous reviews, instructors just walk away and are only interested in you if they have to upsell the photo and videos. Look out for a groupon if you plan to visit.See more..

W SAILING is simply a great sailing club! Francisco is a great host. His passion for sailing, and for life, is highly contagious. I have sailed twice with him. Once with a large group in Santa Cruz and once alone with him on a Tuesday afternoon after work and it was best possible way to end my day. Francisco is able to make sailing look so simple and I was able to do so much since the very beginning thanks to his guidance. Sailing is always seen as a "closed club" that only some people have access to. W SAILING makes sailing accessible to everybody. I'm giving them 4 stars because their booking process was kind of a pain. Our dive was cancelled twice before finally giving it a go on the 3rd time. It was frustrating because we were coming up from San Francisco, and it was at least a 2 hour drive. Once there however, everything was a breeze. Our instructors were awesome and hilarious and put us at ease. Especially my friend who was jumping for the first time. One thing to know, when you get there, don't expect to jump at your appointment time. They are extremely busy and get very backed up so you might have to wait a couple hours. It's kind of fun to watch everyone else jump and land though, so it goes by pretty quick.See more..

We were nervous about rafting the river as we've never been rafting before. The guide made sure we knew exactly what to expect and what to do, including a full safety briefing and practice before we went down the river. Once on the water we went through a number of rated rapids including the scary sounding suicide falls - which we then paddled back up to 'surf' the rapids. The guide made sure everyone got wet without falling in and we spent over two hours working our way down the river. This is a fantastic experience and we'd recommend it to anyone visiting Three Rivers.See more..

There were about 30 of us who went. One person was in charge to check out/rent the rafts. The check out was simple and painless. We tied four rafts together as we conquered the American River. The water level was low and rapids was like level 1 only :( But whether you joined us or not, do not go to the river unless you were armed with water guns or covered with rain gear. Our group was like an army ready for mortal combat shooting the shooter with double bazookas, cameras and jello shots. One group of rafters (two rafts) dared us and started shooting at us. They were outnumbered as we all "ambushed" them with our water guns. To make things clear, River Rat was the place we rented the rafts but the fun continued on while we were rafting. The service they provided us was great as we surrendered the rafts in the end (at the destination point) and we boarded on the bus provided by River Rat to be taken back to our cars. Took my whole family rafting on the Class III/IV for a birthday celebration! It was a blast! We have been rafting before and this is one of our favorites. The guides were very knowledgeable and made us feel safe (very important to me as several of our family members were super nervous). Love the location as the river run is a nice balance of rapids and calm stretches. We did go early in the season when the water flow was lower. Would highly recommend.See more..

Our whole family went skydiving. we showed up bright and early on a Saturday morning. We watched a film about what we were about to do, and were then briefed by a nice young lady on what to expect. Soon after we were fitted with the equipment needed, and introduced to the instructor assigned to us, who went over safety and double checked our equipment. I would like to point out that one of our daughters has spina bifida and wears leg braces. They assured us that she would be fine and would have the time of her life. They were right, she was the first one out of the plane and she just about drug the instructor out the door. It was the most incredible experience and I am glad to check it off my bucket list. Our Team Survivor dragonbat team, relegated to kayak training during covid for a year, took our skills to the Kern River last week with Donny and his guides at Pro Rafting. It was one of the most memorable experiences ever. From the initial point of contact, Donny was responsive and provided us detailed information that not only covered the kayak adventure, but offered awesome suggestions on what to do off the water. His calm presence, respect of the rive, wealth of experience and detailed instruction put us at ease since we were not familiar with what the river was going to serve us. I didn't choose to drive myself because I wanted to experience the highest speed possible so I was a passenger with a pro. Jim told me we reached 165 mph. I've personally never driven over 120 mph. It was fantastic!! The staff was great. They seem to enjoy their jobs at the track and that makes the customers feel right at home. Great fun with friends, we had a blast doing this. It is part escape room, part haunted house, and part interactive theater. The story was fun, the sets were cool, the atmosphere was well done. Only two complaints, 1) parking hard to find around the venue 2) The music was sometimes so loud I could not hear the actors well, especially in the check in area.
