Pro Rafting Tours are THE BEST
Our Team Survivor dragonbat team, relegated to kayak training during covid for a year, took our skills to the Kern River last week with Donny and his guides at Pro Rafting. It was one of the most memorable experiences ever. From the initial point of contact, Donny was responsive and provided us detailed information that not only covered the kayak adventure, but offered awesome suggestions on what to do off the water. His calm presence, respect of the rive, wealth of experience and detailed instruction put us at ease since we were not familiar with what the river was going to serve us. We ran that section 4 times! and each time there was something new to see and learn. I highly recommend Pro Rafting Tours with Donny Hazard and his team.

These guys are great!
I don't normally write reviews, but Pro Rafting Tours provided such a memorable experience I had to post something. Owners Donny and Cherry are a great team- knowledgeable, patient, personable, energetic, and fun. Lauren was my favorite guide. She was friendly and made everyone feel important; she took time to get to know everyone's name (there were 40+ of us in our group!). I highly recommend Pro Rafting Tours!

Can't Stop Thinking About Our Kern River Trip!
All I can say is - what a blast is was to spend a whole day kayaking the Kern River last week with Donny Hazard and his crew!!! Pro Rafting was warm, caring, and professional, had great equipment, taught us the basics of how to read the river, how to safely deal with getting dumped out of the boat, and were right there to aid us (fish us out!) when we did end up swimming. We had a wonderful lunch provided by Pro Rafting including a decorated birthday cake for one of our members. Donny's crew was genuinely kind and helpful to the 10 of us throughout the day. It was an exciting day with a bit of fear, but we felt that we were in very good hands. All of the guides on this trip: Donny, Gus, Sammy, Gwen, Dallin, Tennyson, and Ryan were genuinely interested in us and friendly throughout the day. A week later I am still thinking about the Kern River trip and looking forward to doing the multi-day Salmon River trip in a year or two!
