Oak Tree Gun Club was everything I imagined a gun range in the US to be. Staff were friendly and on hand to help. Prices were so reasonable, compared to other places like Vegas which is triple the price for half the time! We were there for most of the day and shot 6 different guns with endless bullets and it came to around $300. I was amazed by how relaxed staff were by us loading our own guns and just getting on with it (luckily my other half has had plenty of experience so he knew exactly what to do). You can use the shotgun range with clay targets, the "gallery" with pull up metal targets, and special events which they put on/host. I recently took 2 gun classes. They were through a different organization, Firearms Training Associates (FTA). I took a ladies gun and self defense class as well as my CCW permit class. They have a separate area with classrooms for the educational portion. The range fees are reasonable, but come with your own ammo. They are high here. The classes were both 2 day classes. For just range time, expect to spend 1-2 hours, depending on how many weapons you are shooting.See more..

Herald was great! The owner was a cool guy too! I had Heral both for pistol and shotgun. After shotgun class, you than need to travel to an outside shooting facility. You can travel pretty far, we had to meet in Livermore. I’m ok with that but others may not but due to the pandemic you need to be open to driving to far locations because many shooting ranges are NOT open. The shop doubles up as a diving spot and the class area is a little tight, thats their only opportunity for improvement . What is important is that the content is very pertinent to firearms use.See more..
I shoot Skeet every week at Prado, price is fair and the skeet ranges are ok. They could use some maintenance and equipment replacement. Never had any real problems, the staff is friendly. They open at 8:00am which is great for summer shooting! I like shooting here, usually not too crowded.See more..

I had a great time paintballing at Hollywood Sports Paintball Park with David Reaper Justin. It is located in Belflower, California. They have a lot of fields too. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because there were 2 Hispanic middle aged paintballers there that got in my face both on the field and then when I was back at my gear bag getting ready for the next game. They were upset that I shot there sons instead of asking them if they surrender. I would have gladly offered an opportunity for them to surrender had they not been trying to shoot me at the time. You can’t ask someone if they surrender if they are shooting at you still. Otherwise you might as well find a new sport. It’s like Kobe Bryant about to score a buzzer beater to win the game, but instead he asks the defense if the surrender. See more..

This is definitely one of the best ranges in the Bay Area, open nature, great parking, outdoor/indoor range (you stand under roof but the range itself is outdoor) so the air is well ventilated. The staff is great and they have a very strict safety policy which I like. The yellow line is a "brick wall" and that is the way I like it. The instructor was knowledgeable, professional and very personable in helping us learn about firearms. He then took us to the range and provided great instruction and feedback during our shooting time. This facility is very well run and the experience was exceptional. If you are looking to buy a gun this is a good place to visit, as you can try different types and make a decision about which firearm would be best for you. They provide many types of guns for sale. You can also chose good options for package deals to come in and rent a gun, buy ammo and shoot on the range there. Honestly, this is a very fun and safe place to visit.
