    Fantastic evening. Had family visiting from the UK after two years of travel restrictions and wanted to have an evening of something more than ‘just’ dinner. Cal Magic did not disappoint! The small size of the place makes it feel very personal, the food was great given that the primary focus is the performances, good selection of drinks to purchase for adults. As we ate dinner about six or seven magicians visited all the tables and amazed us with their tricks and entertained us with their jokes. We had plenty of time to eat though and didn’t feel like we were being interrupted. Then the stage show after dinner was great - we saw Hank Morfin who rocks!!! After the show ended, all the magicians spent time chatting with the guests, we weren’t rushed out the door. Gerry Griffin, the owner and host, is so welcoming, funny, entertaining…..a great evening, we will definitely be back with local friends soon. See more..

    It was our first time here. Parking is bad due to it being in a small entertainment mall. Get there early to find a spot in the parking garage. It is a very small place, but it makes it more personal. The emcee was good. The opening act was not. The headliner was very funny and we really enjoyed his show. You are requested to purchase a 2 drink minimum as with most comedy clubs. They do have limited alcohol, not a full bar. But there are still quite a few drink choices. We just had beer. They do serve food--mostly sandwiches and salads. We didn't eat there but from what we could see the food looked good and were good-sized portions. Entry was $20 but we had free coupons. Food runs $10-12 a plate and beer $6-7. Worth a visit if there is a good comedian playing. See more..
